It was certainly an inexpensive place to stay but I was dissapointed in the distance to the bus stop and to Fira. It took a good 25 min. to walk up hill to the bus stop. (I can walk a mile in 16 min.)And then it was another 15 min. walk to Fira. Both walks were along busy noisy roads.

If you don't mind that it's a little bit far from sigthseeing such as Fira Town where you can walk to within 30 minutes, this is a good place for relaxation. I do apreciate the staffs (who are the owner with his wife and daugther). They were very helpful and friendly.

This hostel was excellent. The location was good, quite a walk from the town but we hired a scooter for 10euros a day which solved that problem. Stavros was very friendly and Tom the cat was lovely.

Stavros was very helpful, full of good advice and local info. He also picked us up from the pier/port. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean, great large hot shower. Situated a 10min stroll up hill to shops/cafes/restaurants. Would recommend hiring ATV/quad bike (Ask Stavros; he will get you a deal). Internet is good, but no wifi. All in all very happy with our stay. Thanks heaps Stavros and family!

Location was a bit far from everything. Close to restaurants, but you needed a car to get to the main cities/beaches. The staff was good. Available early morning to pretty late at night. Cute little place. Nice and quiet at night. There were some ants in the room, but only a few. It wasn't an irritant. The rooms are nice and spacious...good for large groups!!

Stavros and his family are very welcoming and helpful. They are happy to organise everything for you in terms of vehicle hire to day trips. The location is great - just outside of central Fira so off the main track. Only criticism is the lack of utensils and pots in the kitchenette. Would definitely stay here again!

Family run hostel. Absolutely amazing people! The owner Stavros was so kind and generous and even came to pick us up from the port at 3am! Thanks Stavros and daughters for making our stay amazing.

Our friends stayed here the week before us and had all their belongings stolen from their room. This includes passports, clothing and essential items. We still stayed there as we didnt want to bother to change our accommodation. The staff don't speak good english. We arranged the day before to be taken to the port but when we were ready to go there was no-one there and we almost missed out ferry to Ios. The rooms themselves are basic and the pillows are very hard.
