I was very impressed by Stay Korea and the warm welcome from the host Sun and her husband. Whenever I needed help, it was addressed with the best care and detailed information. Everything was perfect and I enjoyed very much my stay. Sun speaks French perfectly and this was another positive point. I strongly recommend to visit Korea and lodge at StayKorea.

We stayed in Stay Korea 2 (which is not what we expected as we booked Stay Korea 1 and thought we would be at the main hostel). While Stay Korea 2 for the most part is clean and located near the Hong ik University stop, there were a few aspects that were disappointing and can be easily remedied: 1. Guest house was WAY too hot; I would wake up with dry eyes, nose, and mouth and felt sick. 2. Staff is rarely around to help. 3. Kitchen is dirty, lacks clean towels, and refrigerator smelled awful.

We had a very good time staying at the Stay Korea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel is also quite convenient. If I visit Seoul again, Stay Korea would definitely be one of my choice!

The location shown in here is wrong! and I was put into Stay Korea 2 after booking which is in even worse location. Too far from subway. Bedrooms are at the first floor where kitchen, common area and entrance are. That makes it really difficult to get a quiet night. Bathroom smells really bad for some reason.

all praises for the staff and owner. one, the staff had open hands in helping us with our last minute decision about going to the airport to catch the last train. two, the owner without second thought allowed my cousin to sleep over our room since her home is 4 hours away from seoul. no question about the cleanliness. overflowing coffee. really comfy bed. the only thing we had difficulty with (although not really that much) was to find the hotel as it wasn't fronting the street.

If you are staying in Seoul for a few days and want somewhere with a homely atmosphere, then this is the place for you. It really feels like you are staying in someone's home, with a comfy living room with a huge TV and a kitchen where you can cook if you wish. There are plenty of bathrooms, which are clean, though I couldn't find a lock for the door. If you have a few valuables I would check in advance to see if there are storage lockers available as I did not see any, so security is an issue.

Stone throw away from World Most scariest food SWIMMING OCTOPUS!!! and many other cafes and subway its behind a small back lane so you might miss it when you first find it, but worry no more just give the hostel a call and the host will come out to bring you in. Very helpful and friendly host clean bed and clean environment

I had a great time at Stay Korea. The hostess was wonderful, engaging, and on the ball with everything. The place was clean and tidy, well located near a subway station. Sun was super helpful with any questions that I asked and breakfast was always an opportunity to interact with other people in the hostel. She's fluent in Korean, French and English ^-^.

This hostel was very tricky to find and we ended up having to call them, but once we made it there the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was great. Beds were comfy and the place was clean and breakfast in the morning is always an added bonus. we would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Seoul. it was about a 7 minute walk from subway and they provided a good map so we could find our way back to the hostel at night.

A lovely place to stay! I only stayed one night and found it very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is quite easy to get from the hostel to the city by using the subway. I would definitely stay here again.
