This is a blend of hotel and hostel. It's lower in cost than a hotel, with fewer ammenities. If you're looking for a hostel, then go to the Polynesian Beach Club. The staff and other renters are a good crowd and can help you find some fun stuff to do, and they'll help you get out of noisy waikiki super cheap.

We loved our 3 day stay at Stay Waikiki and will definitely return. The room was clean and the comfort level was adequate for the amount of time we were actually in the room. We loved the balcony for kicking back and sipping a glass of wine at the end of a very busy day. The location could not have been more perfect for getting around. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. A great value!

Great, value for money accomodation! you pay hostel price for hotel standard service and facilities. They offer everything you expect of a 3 star hotel, including TV in room, daily housekeeping, toiletries and towels, breakfast and even wake up calls! The amenity fee is simply $10 per person per day, and doesn't make it any less value for money!

The hostel was nice an clean, in an excellent location. The staff offered to book a taxi for us, since we had a flight very early in the morning, however despite our checking with reception several times, the taxi was never booked! This service, which is so crucial to customers' travel plans, needs to be delivered accurately or not offered at all. Also, the $10 compulsory amenity fee should just be included in the room rate - it's a confusing pricing system which makes comparisons hard.

We thought the hostel was great. Great location and great services. Really appreciated the additional services e.g. Internet, breakfast, DVD rental and beach equipment. However we think that the additional 'service charge' should be included within the hostelworld quote as it added almost 50% to our bill, which to many who were not anticipating it would be an unpleasant and unaffordable surprise.

Only stayed for one night just to try out the hostel. My room was perfect. I really enjoyed sitting out on the lanai and enjoying a small partial view of the ocean. Complimentary wifi signal was weak which is no big deal. I have my mobile wifi hot spot. I will book again.

Although we booked a "Standard Twin Private Ensuite", the only available room on the day we stayed there was the one with a bunk bed. We complained to the reception but was told it is normal that a room with a bunk bed, not twin beds, is provided when booking through Hostelworld. A guest who happened to be at the reception then also told us that they paid extra to get the twin ensuite. The room was not as good and clean as it appeared on the hotel's website either.
