Great staff!!! very welcoming, helpful and friendly

As per all StayOkays hostels we have stayed at, this one was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! Had the extra benefit of lockers in the dorms and when you get the dorm to yourself all the better :) A bit far from town as it took 40 mins to walk but has a bus at the door for 2 euro.

More of an out of the way hostel, but I had a nice stay. Not directly in the city center, but easy enough to find with planning and in a nice park. Typical room - nothing special. Really helpful staff. Bike rental nice. Very good breakfast line up. An event was planned and there is a bar, but not many people were there and it seems to be much more all-ages, which isn't a bad thing of course, but just has a different atmosphere.

very bad location. its a 15 min. busdrive from haarlem's center but the busses are not frequent ( once every 30 min.). don't be tempted to think you can stay in harlem and enjoy the eveninggs in Amsterdam unless you drive your own car

We had a good time staying at the Stayokay. The hostel is very spacious and clean plus the staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. They offer a good variety and enough of everything. The hostel is located a bit outside of Haarlem but you have the bus station right infront of the hostel so it's not a problem to go into town. The hostel has got many bikes available for hire so you can take them for a trip through the national park to the coast which is not far away.
