This is a great hostel, rooms are new and clean and more like a hotel than a hostel. Only a short walk to the main bars and restaurants in the city. Nice breakfast too. Bar was a bit lifeless when we were there

Stayokay is a youth hostel chain in Holland. Excellent for all points listed, but the cost is bit expensive compared with ones of other countries.

It was a good hostel with comfortable beds, however there is no age restriction and at one point my girlfriends and I were put in a 6 person female dorm with a woman of 65 years +. I thought it was a little strange, but the hostel was clean and in a good location with a great breakfast included.

cool location, ample breakfast, but not too exciting. The 6-person bedrooms with private ensuite makes up for a bit of the lackluster excitement.

a brand new hostel, with everything you could think of, though not really suited to backpackers on a budget, as you cant take your own food in, and you cant access the kitchen. nice views of the city and river, and isnt too long of a walk to get into the cultural/historical heart of the city. very very clean but just a little sterile of our liking. didnt meet one person our age there (24).
