Stayokay Maastricht Reviews

The staff at reception did not give me a YHA-HI discount on production of the membership card. She said that to get that discount, I should have booked through Stayokay website and not hostelworld. I had gone to Stayokay in Central Amsterdam and was happily given a YHA discount on production of the same card. I had made this Amsterdam booking through Hostelbookers. I am guessing, Hostelworld is not to blame for this. I want my two and a half euros back!! :P

Great place. Nice walk through a small park to get into town, very friendly staff, and a good breakfast. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Really good hostel. The only thing is that it could have a locker closer to the room.

We've had a great time during the Carnaval at Maastricht this year. Our roommates were pretty loud, but that can happen if you share a room. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. When our friend was coming over, she couldn't stay in our room like promised, so they upgraded our room to a three persons room, which was great! When we asked for somebody to clean the bathroom, they did it immediately. Thank you!

Brilliant hostel. So clean and tidy and amazing breakfast as well. Definitely recommend it!!

Stayed two nights, arrived at 12:30am and could walk straight into the hostel (also doubles as a bar). Asked RE: Boat trips while checking in and staff did not know even though they advertised it. Breakfast was included good european food - cold meats, cheese, cereal, bread. Wonderful location, close to train and city centre. Room was lovely and clean, each bed having individual light. One of themain lights was on a sensor was annoying every time someone moved. Overall good place though

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. It's nice and clean and spacious. The dining area at the back of the hostel is really pretty and quaint.
