The stayok was a perfect hostel. Though it was not in the heart of Amsterdam, it had free breakfast, nice rooms and there were a ton of people! If you are willing to stay a little outside, i recommend this one!

So far, the best hostel I have satayed in. The professional attitude of the staff gives the impression you are in a hotel. The interior design is great.

this is a hotel not a hostel is so freaking nice! and its really nice to be outside of the city (which really means like 5 minutes on the tram), but to be away from the red light district and the pot helps when you just need rest at night. breakfast is AWESOME!

I have stayed at hostels all around Western Europe and BY FAR this is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is great (and it's included) and all the staff are very warm and genuinely friendly. It's a bit of a trek to get downtown or to the museums, but if you don't mind walking (40 minutes) or taking trams (15 minutes) you can get around fairly easily. I highly recommend this hostel.

The hostel is a bit out of centre of Amsterdam. It would be helpful for visitors to Amsterdam, to mention that tram 14 does not go from outside station, but you have to walk to Dam Square to catch it.

Even though the hostel is not too close to the city center (it's a short tram ride away), the friendly and helpful staff, the cleanliness, and our spacious room made up for the location.
