kitchen is good. a little bit far away from old town but It's ok to walk and It's close to train station. WiFi is good and they provide computer as well. but It's VERY noisy at night since there are casino and restaurants/bar downstair.
Steffis Hostel is nicely located in a old fabric building but the hostel itself has not a lot flair. Location wise it depends if you will like it or not, for us it was suitable as really close to main station but its far away from old town (30 min walking is really a far distance in small town like Heidelberg). But its really clean. We didn't try the breakfast which comes with extra cost. Stuff is friendly but in our case couldn't really help us with the questions we had.

A nice hostel that felt a bit like a hotel. Although it did have a nice kitchen and common area it wasn't so easy to meet people as a solo traveller. Handily located just round the corner from the train station, but it can get a bit noisey at night.
Near central station but far from old town. It is clean and quite. I like it.
The hostel's location is great as it is literally in front of the train station. The staff is very friendly and they gave me good suggestions on what to visit. Breakfast was the cheapest I have ever seen in a hostel and it was great! The rooms are very spacey and there are good sized lockers to store your valuables. The showers and bathroom are not in the room and the showers are those you have to push for water every 5 seconds. They also have a break room where you can use computers.
cool hotel and very close to the trainstation!
Great atmosphere, nice location, very friendly staff!! My only problem was the club that was located just under my room. I've managed to sleep only around 5-6 from the noise.. :/
Very nice! The hostel is clean, comfortable and convenient. Highly recommended!

The staff is very friendly. Good location, only a 15 minute walk to old town. Wifi was a little weak in the room, it worked better in the common areas. Great coffee in the morning.
Wonderful location just walking distance from moan train station. Hostel is clean and tidy with warm and peaceful sitting room, staffs are wonderfully helpful
Was in Heidelberg for a weekend. Steffi's is a great place to stay. Very close to the train station, and parking outside is only around 5 euro a day. There is also free parking on the street if you can get it. Hostel was clean, atmosphere friendly. Wifi worked well. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Bismarckplatz and the Altstadt. I would definitely recommend staying here. Best part about Heidelberg is the Philosophenweg and Heiligenberg with the Thingstatte and St. Michael Monastery ruins.
Nice location next to HBF. but maybe there are a little bit noisy
The location is really nice - only 3 min walk away from the central station and 20 min walk from the old town (where every visitor must go in Heidelberg). The provision of desktop computers in the common room is a great aid for my planning of trips. The Wi-Fi is very strong. The shower is a bit cold.
Excellent location within walking distance of old town and close to train. Impressed. Plenty of showers, they do a breakfast
I had some troubles finding the entrance because of construction work going on in the lobby, but otherwise the hostel was very nice: clean, well furnished, on a great location, very friendly people&staff, great breakfast.
The facilities were quite basic, the bedding and furniture in the room were minimal, the washrooms smelled, the walls were very thin and you could hear neighbours talking, and the location was alright. I expected a bit more for 30 euros per person per night.
