Funny hostel in an old warehouse/office block. Comfortable beds. Our room had completely see-through curtains which meant light shone through all night and as soon as the sun was up, we were too! Also, only 5 toilets and only 6 showers (3 boys, 3 girls) for the WHOLE hostel. Staff friendly. Showers have a change shelf.Funny hostel in an old warehouse/office block. Comfortable beds. Very nice place, nice relaxing common room and big kitchen. Good coffee too. The building is multi use and sometime the noise level from the Salsa Club down stairs can be overwhelming. But nothing compared to the Dance Club outside the hostel building ... Friday and Saturday the music starts at 9PM and doesn\'t shut down until 3 or 4AM. Steffi does provide ear plugs but even ear plugs can\'t mute the noise ... I would recommend taking a pair of Professional Noise Canceling Earmuffs and learn to sleep on your back. My last night at Steffi was not smooh. I was waken up by a Korian girl at 12:10. She told me she couldn't sleep because I snored, and she asked me to get out of the room. She said that I could ask the reception to give me another room to stay. I picked up all my stuff and moved to Kitchen where there are plenty of tables. I pulled out my laptop and remained online till people are about to have breakfast. All my good memory in Heidelberg is almost ruined by that event. Anyway, Steffi is good.
