This was a great hostel. Close to the main station. Station is quite far from the old town, but there are regular buses and trams. Hostel was clean and quiet and very comfortable. Big kitchen and common room. Rooms were large clean. In my room there were 5, each in a single bed. They could easily have crammed more people in with bunk beds, but didn't, so that the room was more comfortable. I would stay here again and recommend it highly.
This place was fine, but a fair distance from old town which was a bit annoying. Good facilities and common areas but was quite a large and spread out hostel so didn't have that same close social vibe that's really good for solo travelers. But very nice, clean and secure overall.
Comfy beds, spacious dorms, and a clean atmosphere. Bathrooms/showers were good but not enough per floor. Kitchen was well-equipped, free coffee/tea. Wifi worked well all over. Staff was friendly and had good suggestions. A little tricky to find because the grocery store they mention in the directions isn't there anymore (look for a Chinese food place instead). Close the the station, a bit far from the city center. Would stay here again.
everything is great but the elevator is quite old

I really enjoyed this hostel. It's very close to the train station, and about a 20 minute walk from the Aldstadt. The hostel staff were all very pleasant, and the lounge was a nice place to hang out -- it never got too crazy in there, so it was perfect for relaxing and talking. The 5-bed dorm room was very spacious, which was a welcome sight after staying in several other hostels with cramped bunk beds. I would definitely recommend this hostel to others.
We stayed in a 2-bed private room. Everything was fine except there was no desk or chair. Maybe it is too much of a thing to expect a hostel to do this but it would make it much more convenient and comfortable for guests who look for a bit of privacy and comfort.

very good hostel, very near train station, very very good breakfast only three euro including fresh juice and ham.will come again.
A nice medium size hostel located just right across the train station and about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town. Was a little hard to find at first as the the hostel was located on the 3rd and 4th floor. Kitchen was good and clean as well as the toilets. The rooms were specious and lockers were provided. Atmosphere depended on the day but would definitely be staying here again whenever I go back to Heidelberg! 😀
I was only there one brief night. The lady at reception was friendly enough, the facilities were very clean and the rooms were spacious. The WiFi worked very well and you are close to the train station.
I was outside almost whole day with my German friends so i actually didn't stay there for a long time. but this hostel is really clean and hygienic. room is big enoug to pull out your all stuff arond the floor. its pretty pricy hostel compared to other budget hostel but its pretty reasonable price. they don't serve breakfast but they have everything you need for cooking. one thing that i disappoited about here is i coudn't use wifi in the room.
Reception was nice and friendly. Lounge (common area) was also very nice.
Awesome that we could hire bikes for free- a real plus!! Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come again!!
Nice hostel, very clean. The hostel is on the 4th floor( or 3rd), so is kind of hard to find it unless you asked someone who knew this place. Other thing is great.
Steffi's is in a great location near the train station and is within easy access of the old town. Which is where most tourist attractions and a good amount of bars and restaurants are based. The hostel itself has a friendly atmosphere and providers for all backpacker needs.
