Nice hostel with friendly staff!

Steffi's Hostel was a great place to stay in Heidelberg. Extremely close to the train station and a nice walk into the Old City (about 20 minutes), it had good wifi and a nice breakfast for 3 euros in the morning. I would stay here again.

Very spacious place. The bathrooms/showers were great. Wifi was strong. The kitchen area was great to cook meals, everything you needed was available. We had a pleasant stay.

It was a little hard to find, but it was generally clean, and the rooms were good, and they had a nice lounge area.

The hostel is clean and big but it is not the place to meet people/new friends. Free tea & coffee is good. It is far from scenic spot, have to walk about 30-40 mins to Heidelberg Castle and Old Town.

Not really close to Altstadt, but in the center.

Front staffs are very kind, and facility is also neat and clean. The place of the hostel is very easy to access from Heidelberg Hbf. ,so overall, very nice hostel I think. If the water pressure of the shower is much higher, i would rate more high sore.

This hostel is good for a traveler who does not like to get along with others. The hostel is real quiet, and everyone in my room was never talking not even a "hi" to each other. However it was clean and the room was big. The location is near the central station, so easy to access to everywhere.

It was a clean and nice place. But definitely don't use the washing service. Lost a shirt and my best pair of pants came out stained. I didn't realise until I was at my next destination as I picked up my washing and put it straight in my bag and checked out. Was average. But that made me very angry. I'm a backpacker with few clothes. So definitely didn't need the added hassle

Hostel was about a 15min walk from the city center, but it was a nice & safe walk. The staff was really nice and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The common room was a little quiet and seemed more like a library, but hang out in the kitchen and you'll meet plenty of people - overall a friendly hostel & good place to meet people. Thanks guys!

Was suprised to see we had to make the beds ourselves, havnt come a cross a hostel that does that before. Great location to bus and train stop, 10-15min walk to old town, 30-40 to the castle. Kitchen was great, 3€ breakfast was great.

Great location near the train station and walking distance from the old town. Three euro all you can eat breakfast is great value for money. The hostel is super clean and comfortable. Not too easy to meet people there though.

Excellent location near the train station although a bigger sign is needed at the entrance - easy to miss. Very spacious rooms - not cramped like some. Free tea & coffee is good. It is a long walk to Heidelberg Castle. I enjoyed my stay there.

The hostel is 5 minutes away from the train station, which is convenient if you have an early train. However, the city centre and the main sights are about half an hour away on foot, or you can take a bus (1.20 euros one-way). I really liked the option of breakfast; it's 3 euros extra, but for those 3 euros you can take all you can eat practically. The rooms are very spacious and, more importantly, the beds are not bunk beds so you don't have to climb over other people to get to sleep.

I really loved the stay in the Steffis hostel, awesome atmospehere, friendly and helpful staff! Very nice kitchen with everything you need and a nice chill out room with computers available. Ist very, near the Train Station, a bit of walk from the city centre, about 20 min. I recommend this hostel highly!

Great atmosphere and the staff were super friendly and helpful! The hostel is right next to the station, however this is about 2.5 km from the Altstadt, so whether or not that's a good location depends on the purpose of your stay (although you really can't complain about public transport connectivity and price). Would definitely stay here again!

Great value breakfast, great staff, and great rooms. Only complaint is the location. Great to be so close to the HBF, but it's a solid walk to Altstat and the Schloss.

Reasonable price, but it can be very hot during the summer...

Love it here. Quiet and peaceful. So clean. Great facilities. Great breakfast. Thanks!

Great value for the money. I had a car, and €6 for parking is awesome. It's about a 30 minute walk to the castle, but definitely doable. The hostel doesn't have a community feel. Don't expect to make new friends here. For €3, the breakfast is a great deal. Showers and extra bathrooms are great. Big lockers for your stuff (bring a lock).
