Thank you Stella and Luciana, had a fab time in Rome. Great value accommodation and a great location, thank you for your hospitality. Eve & Joss x

Not bad value for how cheap it was, but breakfast was packages croissant and coffee in a thermos made the night before. Location is a bit out of the way for walking to all the attractions, but the metro isn't far. Wifi didn't work in our room but it may in others.

We were overcharged in that we had to pay the 15% service charge twice. The first time was via hostelworld.com by visa, to secure the booking. The second time was at the hostel, where it was added to the amount to pay despite the fact we had already paid it. In vain we showed the host our emailed booking confirmation which clearly stated this - in the end we were too tired to continue arguing and paid the fee again. Despite this everything else was fine, friendly, clean and helpful.

Wonderful hostel. Stella is very friendly and accomodating! The location is better than anyone could ask for. Just a few blocks from the Rome train station. Lots of great food around. Big rooms that were cleaned daily. Wifi worked really well!

All was Ok, except for the noise that was made and especially the poor breakfast, with bitten cookies,a piece of cake and some shaddy jams, no bread, only 1 or 2 sweet croissants and sweetbreads, rationed milk and that was it.

5 min walk to train station. Felt like staying with relatives. Stella & Luciana were very nice ladies. :)

The location is great for the main train station from the airport, but it is quite far from a lot of the 'attractions' (we knew this when booking, but like to walk, so it was fine for us). There probably are buses available, but we didn't use them. Stella and family were lovely, they let us bring back take away pizza and we ate it with them watching the Godfather in Italian. All in all a good value for money basis guesthouse.
