The breakfast was poorly prepared with few options. You don´t put a empty pot of nutella and an almost empty pot of jam and little else for breakfast.

A few minor hiccups, but all together great for the value. Stella is accommodating and friendly! our only issue (through no fault of the owner) was with the heat and street sweeper running all night it was a little hard to sleep. However, the windows on the door to our room are semitransparent, so any time someone turned on the lights in the hallway, the room flooded with light. Be sure to ask for the correct wifi, and also Stella does NOT factor in the booking fee you pay to hostel world.

Thank you Stella and Luciana, had a fab time in Rome. Great value accommodation and a great location, thank you for your hospitality. Eve & Joss x

Not bad value for how cheap it was, but breakfast was packages croissant and coffee in a thermos made the night before. Location is a bit out of the way for walking to all the attractions, but the metro isn't far. Wifi didn't work in our room but it may in others.

We were overcharged in that we had to pay the 15% service charge twice. The first time was via hostelworld.com by visa, to secure the booking. The second time was at the hostel, where it was added to the amount to pay despite the fact we had already paid it. In vain we showed the host our emailed booking confirmation which clearly stated this - in the end we were too tired to continue arguing and paid the fee again. Despite this everything else was fine, friendly, clean and helpful.
