Hostel was really good value for money, in a great location. It's perfect for self-catering with a really good kitchen. the only area that was a bit lacking was security: you can pay for a locker downstairs, which is fine for left luggage, but nothing in the rooms. the doors to the rooms do have electronic key cards, but the door to my room only seemed to lock half the time. As I didn't know if anyone else would be coming in to my room, it would've been good to have a locker upstairs.

Great hostel, better than average, with a relaxed atmosphere. Good kitchen and facilities. Only a couple of nice to haves: some separate showers so that you don't wake up everyone in the bedrooms, and a drying room - although understand that this is a city hostel and not necessarily geared up for walkers. Floor boards are very creaky!!
