The location is great for the surfer lifestyle, you have surfers corner just down the street. Stoked Backpackers is very new everything is very clean and the staff are the friendliest i've experienced so far. It is relatively quiet at night in Muizenberg, so if you are looking for a wild party, this is not the place the place to go, however Muizenberg has relaxed as well as stylish bars which are perfect if your planning on getting up in the morning.

Sandra and I stayed at the hostel for 4 nights. I have been to many hostels all around the world and currently I am more used to really good hotels since my company pays for them- but this hostel was the best choice EVER! We enjoyed every moment there- it is really clean, the location is perfect, really nice cafe, kitchen, the staff is awesome- we felt like home! We will come back for sure! Thanks a lot for that great time!

Places is nice and new. Unfortunatly it is very close to a very busy road, so better bring earplgs.

Fantastic hostel! It's literally overlooking the water and the surf lessons were great. There's an awesome deck and common room, we did BBQ's a couple of nights.. Lots of fun people from all over Europe. Tara and Graham are amazing!!!! :)

An amazing place filled with amazing people!

I had a great stay here. I stayed in a double room and it was very very clean and beautifully furnished and decorated, with a private ensuite. The room was very spacious with a beautiful view of Muizenberg beach. The hostel had only been open 2 weeks when I stayed there, but everything was very organised and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the place definitely has a homely and family feel about it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Muizenberg.
