Character / Atmosphere : Low marks b/c it's not really a hostel....just an innkeepers loft converted into one. There's a couple private rooms, and a slew of beds NOT in a separate room, but sitting just next to the common area. No typical hostel amenities like movies, a bar, etc. Staff is rude. Beds are a step above prison beds, even poor quality by hostel standards. It has a big kitchen. It's fine if you're desperate. Also, terrible refund policy...need 1 month notice to cancel!

Great value for money in the backpackers - spacious kitchen and living room,nice pool. Receptionist very helpful, Bacon, the pet pig also adds something to the place!
