If you don't care about to walk 7 or 10 minutes, the it is practically in the center and close to attractions. It Isn't a fancy hostel of course, but it is good enough and the rate quality/money is very good. I liked that they provide you free access to internet throw some computers with windows and LINUX.

If you want the "breakfast" they offer you have to tell them the night before and pay about 5 euros for a limited amount of food. Instead walk down the street and go to the Bagel Cafe, you get so much more for the same price! Absolutely delicious cafe!

Great hostel, we came by car and the only thing that we were missing was free parking. Otherwise everything was great. :)

Quite cramped rooms and location is a little out of the way of the city centre, but very secure. Receptionist was welcoming but we weren't happy about having to pay extra for breakfast when everywhere else we stayed at, it was included.

Stayed 6 bed, 1 night (mon) so fair enough that the hostel didn't have an excellent atmosphere. However, room and bathroom were clean, short walk into town but there is stuff nearby. Staff were helpful and the common room / kitchen area was very nice (and quite well equipped). Easy to get to from station. Would very happily recommend / stay again.

In principal the stay in this hostel was ok, but we had problems with one bed in room 10 (we had bed no. 5 and 6) in which we had bed bugs causing nasty ichy skin reactions.

I found walking to the hostel quite far since most things to see are west of the location. the lack of elevators means you lug your heavy luggage up steep steps. the reception is less than friendly. the kitchen is awesome and they have a printer and many computers, mtv plays on the lcd the whole day. everything is clean & well kept. Wifi is no problem as well. I

I'm glad I chose Stone hostel for my stay in Utrecht, the owner received me at my arrival, is a wonderful person, my door broke the 2nd day and he went himself and repaired it. The security system for the doors is great, I felt safe and comfortable during my stay

Stones is by far the best hostel I have stayed at. Staff and the owners go the extra mile to ensure guest comfort, access to all facilities and a comfortable relaxing stay in an excellent environment. The kitchen is excellently equipped and well maintained.

A little bit expensive, because we hadn't breakfast. Also, i think it's necessary lockers inside the room. Thanks

The worst thing about this hostel is that there is a 3am curfew at weekends after which time it is impossible to get back into the hostel.

Well-equipped kitchen, free internet was easy to use, staff were extremely helpful and provided some really handy brochures. No lockers but there were safes available for use.

I really enjoyed the hostel. It is close to the historical center, in a good neighbourhood, close to the main facilities. The staff is nice and gentle and roommates were mostly students. I would certainly come back.

The only thing we regret is the closing time at 3 a.m. That prevent us to enjoy entirely the nightlife in Utrecht...it should be at least 4 a.m.

It was my first time in Utrecht but I really enjoyed the friendly reception by the staff, mostly young and friendly students. Had great chats, learned about the best corners of the city and never felt to have asked a question too much. In addition to the little money you spend on the rooms/dorms, an absolute treasure!

A lot of strange old men staying at the hostel, so as a single female i wanted to make sure i locked the dorm room when i went to sleep...guess what, THE DOOR OF THE ROOM DIDN'T SHUT!!!! when i told reception there was no attempt to move me to another room, even though there was lots of space. They also said they would fix it before night time and they didnt. I'm not that picky but if you can't even shut your door then i'm not going to recommend you.
