You probably need to be a certain type of guest to get the most of out this place - there were a number of people there long term who went out to work during the day- something I did fifteen years ago. Annoying rule is the way they change the security code each day at 11am, meaning that if you go out before that time you will need to ring the bell again when you get back.

When we arrived, we realized that we stayed with a creepy guy so we asked the staff to change to another room and they were pleased to change for us. Everyone in the hostel was really nice and helpful.

This was the best hostel stay on my 16-day stint around the Netherlands. It's so easy to get to - from the Central Station, just take the 8 bus a few stops to Wittevrouwenburg, and you're there. The woman at the desk gave me a great map of the city, told me where good grocery shops were, and I liked that there were just entry codes rather than a key that you could easily lose. Desk closes at 11:30 S-T - this is not a party hostel, but I still had a lot of fun here, as it's very close to bars.

This hostel was pretty good. Rooms were clean, comfortable and really quite. The kitchen has all equipments, so you can prepeare your own meal. In comparison with the hostel's direction, it takes more than 20 mins to get there from the central station.

First impression may be "small" or "cramped but this hostel is excellent value for money. Clean, generally helpful staff, free fast wifi, good location for the city. If you're just looking for somewhere warm and cheap to sleep, these guys are great.
