Brendan was great! (the girl working with him was lame) Check in was rough and confusing and then asked her for an italian recommendation and she just handed us the generic city guide and said \"all restuarants are in here\", later we asked Brendan and he recommended Winnebagos (couple blocks away) with great food and fun atmosphere.Brendan was great! Very nice combo small hotel..clean, modern deluxe backpacker set-up, Approx six blocks to Cathedral sq. 10 minute walk to inter-city bus stop. My single ensuite was small, but nice. Bit further from city centre than it advertises, some other hostels are much closer. Big hostel as has about 4 seperate buildings. Room and bathrooms were clean but kitchen not so much. Security was a bit dodgy, one night a group of guys tried to get into the hostel and almost did before the police came but that may have been a one-off.
