This isn't your traditional hostel. You literally rent an apartment from someone. The staff was extremely accomidating and sends a lot of emails telling you how to get from the Milan airport to the center of town, and how to get to the apartment. You have to set up an appointment at a certain time to check in, you can't drop off your bags anywhere because you can't enter the apartment complex until the staff let's you in and gives you the key. However the apartment itself is nice,

the appartment was nice and enough for three people, staff very friendly, but radiators were turned off for two days - we were freezing and got cold - it would help to keep the remote controller for the AC/heating in the room, or set up the higher temperature in winter months.

Heater was automatic only to keep the room above 20deg. I was a little ill and needed more heat but you cant modify the heater so i ended up getting sicker. wifi was really good though.
