Really enjoyed our stay, this hostel had a home like feeling. Awesome location right near the beach at Strandhill. Bathrooms, toilets and bedrooms were all clean. No eftpos available at the hostel so remember to take cash!
Good place for relaxing a few days, and enjoy the beach.

The staff was very friendly, the hostel is maintained very clean and is located at the best place which is just 200 metres to the beach.
I had a wonderful stay here. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and a two minute walk from the beach. Would definitely recommend
Located right near the beach and restaurants. Room was nice and cosy with good beds. Lots of charging points. Included breakfast adds value and the common rooms are great. Be aware that surf equipment can't be rented, only lessons available but this is common to all of the surf industry in the town. Can recommend.
The staff was very friendly, courteous and welcoming! The house was beautifully decorated, inviting and very comfortable! I have booked a bed in a bigger bedroom, which was occupied due to a group. The manager therefore offered me a single bedroom for a brilliant price! Everything was clean and really neat! The hostel is a 5 minute walk away from the ocean and the Surf School. Overall, I really enjoyed staying there and would definitely recommend it to anyone!! Thumbs up! :)
One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in!
This was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in... The staff was kind and helpful, the rooms were warm and clean, the facilities were amazing, and I had an ocean view!
Cool hostel, has a bar/restaurant, friendly staff! Rooms were a bit of a tight squeeze, have lockers to fit personal things so backpacks, luggage is everywhere. Short walking distance to the bars, and loved the cat hanging out in the basement common area, super friendly!
This hostel was relatively empty while I was there. I imagine it's a different in the summer. Definitely a surf destination as there doesn't seem to be terribly much else to do here. But the staff was super helpful in lining up a lesson for me and I had a good time. The bathrooms here are a bit odd. The shower is in the room with the sink, so if you use a toilet and someone's showering, you can't use the sink. But otherwise it was very cozy.
The location is great (for beach lovers (5 minutes walking (slow)))! Bar and restaurant nearby. The staff was really cool, easy going and provided good infos on what to do around. Clean and neat! Kitchen and lounge was good to meet fellow travellers. Walking/running path around bringing to an old ruin church.
Nice employees, except for the sometimes gruff older guy. Beds wee comfortable and the kitchen was modern and well stocked with cooking utensils. The free cereal and toast was a nice touch, and I appreciated having the free tea being available all day long. There is a bus going to Sligo every hour, and it takes about a half hour to get to the Sligo bus station. The coast is gorgeous, and there are some nice walks around Strandhill. The Strand Bar is nice, but there is a bit of a walk to the Spar
