Cokriges everywhere, no living room and no tv! Rooms clean though

Bugs, cockroaches and insects in the room. Few and dirty showers and toilets. No safety lockers or luggage room for storage. No value for the money.

Everyone was super loud in the hallway all night and it was impossible to sleep. The bedroom was musty and smelled terrible, and there was weird mold and water discolorations on the wall. The woman at reception was very nice, but reception was in a different building two blocks away. The bathrooms and showers were filthy, and there were too few for the number of people. My friend and I chose to wait and brush our teeth in the airport rather than use the bathrooms again in the morning.

this hotel is the worst I've seen in Australia. no clean, people are disrespectful. unfriendly staff. accommodation is two blocks away from the reception. no supervision in accommodation. I stayed four days, the showers were not cleaned once (hair everywhere). Bedroom are very small. I really do not recommend this place

It was sooo loud at night because everybody was drunken at night and loud :/ scary people there..

It's a nice hostel in the city center, the stuff is kind. It's clean anought to be a hostel and the price u pay it's onest. The only thing is a bit annoing is that the recenpion and the free wifi are in another place. Anyway was a good stay

Great location and clean rooms

Location and staff are very good (especially Oli, he was very helpful). Atmosphere was not so nice because there are too many long-term residents who are really "living" in the rooms. Facilities are a bit small, and only two toilets are not enough. Good for one or two nights

Staff at check in were extremely rude and not helpful. room had large patches of mould on the doors and the carpet needed shoes on at all times. General location ok, but felt very uncomfortable above the 'old mans pub'. CHeck in out location smelt of beer and cigarettes. yuk.

nice hostel, friendly staff and good facilities! hostel is more like a hotel, everyone keeps to themselves. got a bar below which is cheap and hostel in general very clean! only bad point is the bouncers on the door at night are rude and treat you like every other person who is coming in to use the club even though your paying to stay there!

Had an awesome time staying at strattons, was more like staying at someone's house than a hostel. Great friendly atmosphere there, everyone seems to talk to each other. Rooms are good as are kitchen and shower facilities. Only downside is no lift...although it's only got 2floors so not a massive issue.

This hostel is a bit weird, the reception is in a different building than some of the rooms, so you have to walk a couple of blocks if you wish to have internet access or extend your stay. The location is very good though and the staff were always very good and helpful.

I had no Internet in the Bilding, the kitchen was very dirty and during my breackfast there where cockroaches running oonthe tabel....it wasn't what it said in the Internet.

No wifi, but others are really great!!

very clean, good location for sightseeing in the city. since there is no communal area it's pretty quiet...good for travelers who want to keep to themselves, but party people won't have much fun there. the bar downstairs offers 3$ drinks. no wifi or reception in the hostel, but in the sister hostel 2 streets down. ideal for people staying for 1-2 days in sydney
