Decent stay. Rooms are residence for students. So not really a hostel, but OK for sleep. Rooms very hot at night and they don't have enough fans to give out. Close to west tran station.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Strawberry hostel. The staff is super friendly, rooms are very nice, and there is a fridge in the room! The only concerns I had is that there is no safes/lockers and that there is no Wi-Fi except the commons area. Other than hose two things the place is great.

Staff did a great job. Most things were fine, clean, comfortable. It's a converted hotel, so can't lock the cupboards. The key system was a little strange, when there's more than one person in the room. Close to shops and stores ,but if breakfast was offered it would be nice. A short walk to subways but location is pretty good. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

We booked a 4 person room but were given a 3 person room - not a problem though!

Good hostel, specially for the price. No wifi in the bedrooms though, other than that all was ok.

Hostel was very clean, no bunk beds in our room which was a nice change. Kind of hard to find and far from main train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very weird atmosphere feels like a poorly run hotel wouldn't recommend staying here if alone or if a group of people looking to meet people

This was an ok hostel, and if what you're looking for is just a bed and a well equipped kitchen , they've got it. However, the atmosphere was dead, the toilets in the lobby were not clean (and 3/4 urinals were out of order). The staff was friemdly and the rooms were clean. There were cupboards where I could stow my backpack but no ability to lock them. Far from city center but easy by Ubahn. Being in the common room felt like a library, people sitting silently or quietly whispering while online.

The hostel had a good location, a 10min walk to the centre and it had a nice common room to chill out. Howeve when we arrived we were just told to put our bags to the side (which anyone could have lifted) and we weren't given a map of the city or any help really which was kind of disappointing especially when you have just arrived to an unknown city. Anyway, I probably wouldn't stay here again but the others in the hostel seemed happy :)

It was nice experience, but they should have separate room to leave your stuff, before check in. Our bags were sitting in a lobby where anyone could take them. Besides that it was very good experience. Rooms were clean, and kitchen was well equipped for cooking. I would come again here.

Well located near Westbahnhof station to get to central in 10 minutes, friendly staff happy to give good recommendations. A few good bars and clubs located on the main shopping street within walking distance

Good kitchen and room, beds were really comfy and small firms were a bonus (3 people). Like it's been said not the most social place as common room is the only place wifi works so everyone is on their phones. But in a good location in town, only stayed one night so it was perfect for us.

Only one key which you share with all people in yoyr room. Wifi only works in the common area. No safety boxes or any other places to keep your belongings safe.

lack of staff on the front desk and this made it difficult for them to keep up with the number of people arriving.only 1 key per room and we were staying in a room with someone not in our group.wifi didn't work at all outside the common room and was non existant on our second night.kitchen was good. washing facilities poor. there were no tokens for 24hours and then a mad rush to use the 2 available machines when they arrived.Directions were awful and we had to google new directions en route.

Clean, good price. Wifi was broken 2/3 days we were there. No atmosphere, no bar.

Strawberry hostel is actually student accommodation that is rented out for the summer (as far as I am aware) it is in a good location, not far from a metro stop, which is really easy to use. The staff are really nice and helpful, but the building itself, was a little difficult to find as it didn’t have a sign outside or anything. We walked past it a few times. Overall, we had a great stay, the rooms are clean and you feel safe.

Cheap and confortable solution, nice rooms and good kitchen. Only wifi on the living room is not normal in 2015. Only one key per room is not pratical when the room is shared. Some members of the reception not professionals at all, namelyl two girls: the arrogant hungarian that is ironic and looks like doing jokes about costumers on theirs back and thre blond barbie, sometimes eating or sometimes chilling on the reception chair, and you arrive and she looks at you as feeling booring.

Great stuff, nice people and perfect location, near to the public transport and the center of the city. one thing that bothers a little is the wifi, you have to stay in the common room to be connected, once you're in your room no internet for you! but all in all, I recommend highly this hostel.

There is a big common room with free table football and table tennis but there is no WiFi in the rooms so the common room will usually be full of people on their phones, checking the internet etc. The room was mostly pretty clean but we found a sock behind one of the beds and there were no fans in the room when it was 35 degrees when we stayed! The location is very close Westbahnhopf metro station and Mariahilfer Straße which is good for getting around and shopping.

The Hostel is all good. The rooms are large and few people occupying. The problem is that they only have wifi downstairs and is very slow. But that does not diminish anything else that the Hostel offers.
