the directions given on the hompage could be more clear and detailed. hostel itself is nice and has a cosy chillout lounge with the movies.

A perfectly pleasant hostel! Rooms were sparse and basic but clean and had sufficient facilities, including a fridge. The building itself has quite a dismal feeling to it - long and dark corridors, but once you're inside the bedroom you forget all that. Only disappointment was the WiFi. There are three WiFi options to choose from, unfortunately we were on the ninth floor and couldn't pick up any. WiFi reception in the lounge was ok. Receptionists were helpful and friendly.

Very strange to have only one key for each room. Highly inconvenient if you weren't traveling with others in your room.

Strawberry fields forever :) Hey I had an awesome time there, Hostel nice and clean and good cooking facilities. The staff were awesome, especially the young lady from Budapest. Gave me some great help and also , sorted me out with what to do in budapest. Would like to personally thank her (i can't remember her name). Tell her that Palinka....well the next day, i was a wreck haha, but thank you

This is university accommodation also used as a hostel. It is a short subway ride from the center of town and can walk in under an hour. Our 3 bedroom room was fine and had an en suite bathroom. There are only kitchens on certain floors and wifi on the ground floor. The atmosphere wasnt amazing but it was cheap accommodation near a train/bus station.

nice hostel !

Quite a good location. Internet and computer services are very poor. It has a very clinical feel to it, almost as if it were a hospital in the past...weird. The kitchens are ok, however no tea, coffee, sugar etc are provided which is a bit irritating. There were several families staying there so it definitely doesn't have a young, backpacker style vibe. The room itself was good, but only one key is given per room which is a joke. We actually got locked into the room at one point...

Good facilities & location. Only time we have had to pay for towels in all our travelling. Is this the norm?

The hostel has no atmosphere - in the common room no one talked. The wi-fi didn't work in our room either ... On the plus side it was very clean and the location was brilliant to get into central Vienna. Would recommend this hostel to people who are looking for a quiet, clean stay; not people who want to party.

The major issue was that the kitchens weren't as clean as they should have, and that people would steal the common salt from it, as well as leaving their dirty dishes in the sink while it was explicitly stated that they were supposed to clean them after use. The boiler wasn't working, nor any of the light bulbs on the ceiling in the kitchen we were using. But all in all it was a good hostel

Wi-Fi connection is a bit slow, probably that could be improved. I've really appreciated the staff always helpful and sunny. Coming back to Wien I'm sure I'll consider to reserve a room here :)

The room was nice and clean but there is no wifi in the rooms and the atmosphere is a little dull. Also people sleep in the common space at night so it can make using the internet late at night or early in the morning a little awkward.

A nice and clean place to stay. Our room and the kitchen had everything you need on a short stay. The staff was friendly and helped us find our way around Vienna. Despite its central location it is very quiet. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone eager to meet fellow travellers or to party as it's really more of a quiet place. But if you are more interested in sightseeing and care for a good night's sleep, this place is great!

I was really sick and the staff were fantastic helping me out. really nice girls and helpful. wi fi only worked in the lounge and dropped out lots, and i stayed in the hotel rooms they also have for a week after being in the dorm one night and my bathroom was not cleaned at all in 7 days. wasnt a very social hostel but good for couples and friends who want a good bed, kitchen and decent price. easy to get to bratislava from and budapest.

If you want a hostel to meet people and explore the city this might not be the one for you as most guests seemed more interested in playing online games or Skype than leaving the hotel to vienna. Walking distance from most attractions and very close to a major station. Very clean and well maintained.

Do not come here if you want to meet other travellers, no one talks. It's like a library. But, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are spacious with comfy beds, the kitchen facility is very useful, and the location is ok for such a good price.

Nice rooms - they're converted from student dorms, so they're nicely furnished and have a bathroom. Only one key per room, which means that if you're roommates don't leave it at the front desk or fall asleep before you get back, you can end up locked out until the staff can help, which is inconvenient. The wifi and computers didn't always work, which was really inconvenient. Also, no breakfast (though there are two nice kitchens). Overall, a pretty average stay, good value for money.

The wifi can be terrible at this place. Most of the time it wouldn't connect and the girl at reception kept having to turn the modem off and back on to try and fix the problem. Other than that, this was a good place to stay.
