Room was great and the staff are really nice. The only problem I had was that they were closing the hostel with the guest still in it, I think they shouldve closed a few days earlier and started after the guests left. Also the first time I stayed I booked a 4 bed mixed dorm and ended up being put in 2 bed dorm with a guy, it was fine but a little strange.

A room for luggage needed. Common area feels like a library. Great cleanliness of room and bathroom. No noise I sleep like a baby!!

Excellent modern and welcoming hostel, ideally located within walking distance of the city's premier attractions. My only slight disappointment was the common room, which actually served more as an abnormally sized ‘quiet area’ with individuals preferring to sit for hours with laptops and earphones. Perhaps some gentle encouragement from the hostel management could stimulate engagement between fellow travelers if only to prevent people developing ‘square eyes’!

loved not being in a bunk bed for a change :) good showers nice and clean and spacious, helpfull staff. i dont really like the shared key for each room id prefer to have my own.

Fantastic atmosphere, close to public transport and really helpful staff. Only downside is it would get very hot at night with no air conditioning

Great location near the subway, train station and shopping. Staff helpful and rooms very well maintained - especially bathrooms! Set up is more like a university dorm than hostel, but it's quiet, convenient and reasonably priced.

Very impressed with Strawberry Hostel Wien - great location - near to the U-Bahn and only minutes from the centre. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Beds were fin, but my on;y complaint would be about the ridiculous, tiny pillows provided - made is a little difficult to sleep - seems odd in a hostel where everything else was perfect!

Very clean and there is a bathroom, shower, and fridge in each room. They have a really poor booking system. I didn't originally book via hostel world and just showed up, they charged me more than hostelworld, I couldn't understand their reasons. I was hoping to stay 4 nights but they could only put me in for one night. Their booking has to be done via a remote office that is only open from 9-2pm, so I had to wake up and find out that I had to move rooms and booked on hostelworld to pay less.

It lacked character because it was very big, more like a hotel - found it harder to meet people. On the other hand it was very luxious with nice ensuite rooms, and the cinema every night is pretty cool

Wonderful hostel, I would say it is a hotel. Maximum privacy, pleasant stuff, clean rooms!

Hostel over the summer usually uni accom for the rest of the year, Nice clean not much really going on which kind of suited us as we were after a quiet couple of days. Close to transport and west station.

Please tell the hostel to move the check-out time from 10am to 11am or 12 noon, or at least flag the early check out time when checking in... Otherwise the place is nice and clean and has a great location! :)

I'd suggest to more strict rules for the food in the fridge of the kitchen: labeling the food with name and room nr you can avoid people steal food of other guests. Despite the rule "you put in the fridge you share" (I completely disagree with it) I had put some coffee in the fridge for 2 hours because I had already checked out, and it completely disappeared. I've been very disappointed because someone took the moka coffee machine probably in his/her room so that it was impossible to use that.

Great room, clean and nice size. Staff is very helpful and polite close to alot around Vienna.

Good location close to the train station and the main streets of vienna can walk everywhere. Has trouble finding it at first. the rooms were ok,but had very little character. Staff were very helpful and nice. Vienna was amazing and a great place to spend a week. Good restaurants nearby.
