The staff is nice but the single room I was was not so good. The hostel would need a bit more air and may be less cats.

REALLY LOVELY PLACE...STAFF ALL FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL...WISHED WE HAD STAYED LONGER SO WE COULD HAVE TAKEN UP THE OFFERS OF GIGS/PARTIES (AND SEEN MORE OF THAT AMAZING CITY)...BREAKFAST WAS FILLING AND A BIT OF A BONUS!! (ONLY ONE SMALL POINTER TO FUTURE GUESTS DON'T MENTION IF YOU FLEW IN.... IT APPEARS THAT FLYING IS BAD DODOS!!) BOOK NOW BEFORE THE KITTENS GROW UP! HOPE YOU MANAGE TO DO THE GARDEN THAT WOULD MAKE IT AN EVEN MORE LOVELY PLACE TO STAY...ThankBecky and Mike (the gardener) xx

Really great hostel. I thoroughly loved my stay and would say that stray cat is one of my favourite hostels in Europe. The staff are super friendly, beds are comfortable and facilities - while not the whiz bang that you get in the big chain hostels were more than enough! Really great breakfast - and I mean that!! Also, it is in a really great location - close proximity to taxim square as well as public transport! I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The rooms are clean and big. Internet is just available downstairs and not in the rooms. The moment you leave the room you can smell smoke and the cats (which also eat from the breackfast table).

Staff is extremely friendly!! Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. It's a bit of a walk up a hill to the shopping and club area but it was never a problem for us. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Hostel, near from taksim square, easy to go everywhere. Good breakfast! Staff was REALLY helpful and friend and always asking if i need something so, thats cool! People all-over the world going there, was really great to connect with different cultures! The bad thing was that the wi-fi only can be used near from the common room so, in my bedroom i never could use the wi fi... but thats ok for me!

Our room (double twin private) was ok. The room should have had more places to your coats and stuff, for example couple hangers and hooks in the wall and shelves would have been nice. Staying there for 10 days, the floor was full of stuff in the end. Shared bathroom was ok, water pressure wasn´t always great but never had to leave dirty! Cats did their own personal feeling in the place, people with fancy noses maybe should not go here. Basement with smokig possibility was pretty uglyish but ok.

The athmosphere was beautiful, I love all the art and related touches. Gives the hostel a unique feel comfortable and welcoming. Quite clean, fresh breakfast included and the people were warm, lovely and helpfull.

The staff were very nice and cared, breakfast was great, the cats were cute, there was a feeling of community, there was a kitchen available and the staff gave us a map and were eager to offer suggestions of things to see and places to go. It was a little hard to find and not where google maps said it was.

I really enjoy the time i spent in stray cat. the staff is kind and helpfull, they 'll manage everything to make your travel in İstanbul the best.I liked that there is always someone and you can have some tea or coffee in every hour of the day . Also the windows which let the sun enter in the bedrooms, and the 6 beds dormitories are confortable and human sized.fırst i planned to stay 5 days but i fınally i stayed 8 days, means that i felt really my home.ı'll go back there for sure,ı miss the cats!

The room I stayed in had the appearance of a prison cell. It was very small, cold, with the heater making odd clunking sounds throughout the night. The bathroom on our level had no soap and to flush the toilet you had to hold in down for 30 seconds. My girlfriend and I saw some of the other rooms, one other private, and a dorm, and they looked much, much nicer than ours so maybe we just got unlucky. The location is good, and it is cheap. Breakfast is OK.

The location of the hostel is quite good, could be better though. Everything else was quite disappointing, I would not stay there again. The room was very dirty, didnt feel welcoming at all. The worst was that the hostel didnt even provide blanckets and we came there in the winter even tough their information says clearly that you should please not bring a sleeping bag because everything is there. The bedsheets were dirty too, another reason why I would have clearly preferred my sleeping bag.
