Great location and in easy walking distance to most attractions in Athens. The room we stayed in stunk of mould and smoke and the bathroom was black with mould. The breakfast that you can buy is very expensive for what it is. Nice staff and well set up for travellers.Great location and in easy walking distance to most attractions in Athens. There were no screens on the windows, but it was too hot to keep the windows closed. I woke up with about a hundred mosquito bites. There were no screens on the windows, but it was too hot to keep the windows closed. I woke up with about a hundred mosquito bites....Close

Situated in the center of Plaka, you get to the Acropolis within 5 mins on foot by going through the most authentic passages... The staff was extremely helpful and a shout out to Alex working in the travel agency IN the hostel, who's given spot on advices for everything usefulSituated in the center of Plaka, you get to the Acropolis within 5 mins on foot by going through the most authentic passages... Heart of Athens. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to travel by Metro. Cheap bus tickets and Metro tickets. What's not to like?Heart of Athens. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to travel by Metro. Cheap bus tickets and Metro tickets. What's not to like?...Close

Good hostel but could do with lockers.
Staff would have got excellent as most were, but there was one guy with a pony tail who was vert rude and unhelpful. The vending machine was swallowing money without giving out drinks abd he refused to do anything about it or even put an out of order sign up so it wouldn't happen to other people.Good hostel but could do with lockers.

Not a bad hostel. The free internet was great. The breakfast was average and overpriced. The showers were disgraceful, among other things, the water did not drain. Good place, but could be better if the bathrooms were in better state (shower). Weird to have only half the sheets on the bed on arrival and have to pay extra for the second half (even if only 1?)
The location is really great.

We were amazed at the value for money here. Excellent location, couldn't have been cleaner and we particularly appreciated the breakfast service, especially the honey and yoghurt! The reception staff were just so friendly and helpful and although we didn't use it the travel service looked excellent too. Hard to beat in Athens. We were amazed at the value for money here. The dorms were very crowded without anywhere to secure your stuff, slightly smelled musty/moldy, and only one electrical outlet in the hall to charge things with. The toilets were usually messy and very cramped into corners and no shower on one floor so you go out into the courtyard in your towel as there is no changing area in the bathrooms. Not a very fun environment, had the lights in the courtyard turned off on a group very quietly playing cards. The dorms were very crowded without anywhere to secure your stuff, slightly smelled musty/moldy, and only one electrical outlet in the hall to charge things with.
