The inside was very nicely decorated and very clean. Great location- about a 5 minute walk from Sol. We checked in early and were put in a nice sized room (had 5 beds but we were only 3 people) and we were right across from the bathroom. The only major complaint I have it that there was one toilet for the shared bathroom. We were only there 2 nights but it seems like there was always someone using the toilet when one of us needed it. Otherwise it was great. Also the staff speak great English.

Great customer service, awesome staff, very clean but no atmosphere and no way to really meet others.

Security getting into the building is poor and the room safe takes 1 euro every time you open and shut it. Other than that a fantastic hostel!

The Hostel has a really good location and is still quiet at night though Nightlive is not far away. Cooking was quite dificult. There are not so many things in the kitchen (referring to pepper, pans or coffee) but it´s posible to get a breakfast in a bar down the street for 4 euro.

Great value for money, fantastic location but don't expect that you can use the kitchen since it's poorly equipped and not that clean. All in all I still would recommend this place - especially because of it's location.

A little difficult to find the hostel, but we called and the staff confirmed we were in the right place! The staff seem to be multi-lingual, which is pretty impressive and they were very helpful, showing us some things we should see on a map. The room was very nice, it had an en-suite and a balcony. The beds were comfortable and the shower strong and hot, although the wall support was broken, but this seemed to be a common theme of all the hostels we stayed in!

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The free wifi was a big plus. It would've been better if there had been more toilets (especially for the women).

One of the best hostel I visited in the last years! I can recommend it to anyone. Clean and great Atmosphere. Also near to the great La Latina quarter and the Metro station Tirso de Molina.

Excelent staff, excelent location for a reasonable price. City center can be visited by walk due its location. Next visits to Madrid we shall stay there again.

We stayed at this hostel for one night on our way to Barcelona. The location was excellent: about 2 minute walk to Sol, and only a few minutes to the Reina Sofia Museum and Atocha Station. We had booked a twin room.with shared bathroom, but were delighted on arrival to be upgraded to a twin room with private bathroom. The cleanliness was very high, and security was good with the rooms locked by key card. This is more like a hotel than a hostel. Great value for money.

I have been there just for one nigth but the experience has been amazing. It is more like an Hotel than a Hostel. Really clean. good location and beautifull place

They upgraded our room to a have bathroom, with no additional costs. Made my day. The hostel has lots of charm, a little hard to find but it has a fairly good location. It's a long walk from the train station if you have a lot of luggage though. It was really clean! We loved our stay here.

I thought this was a very basic hostel. I was not a fan of the showers where you have to repeatedly push a button to start the water. The staff was alright I did not get a warm welcome. I did like the location and the closeness to the metro. Overall an average stay.

The hostel is actually a few different buildings, and I stayed in one around the corner from Luiz Velez. The rooms were good for the money, including their own private bathrooms. However, if you end up staying on the first floor, the noise from the street is quite loud throughout the entire night, because the hostel is right in the heart of Madrid. If you are a light sleeper, I would say ask for a room not directly next to reception. Aside from that, it was a great place and I had a fine time!

We were in a double room with a private bathroom. The room was very clean, the location was great and staff was English speaking/helpful. We enjoyed our vacation very much and we slept very well. Thank you.
