If you're looking for a good location in ilha grande this is the best place to stay. The breakfast was yummy as well and the staff were really friendly. It's a small hostel but makes meeting people more fun and easy. Definitely not one to miss!!

First the location of the hostel is really nice, it´s just one minute from where the boat arrives, but it´s an island you cannot really get a bad location. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our time in the hostel at all, the host is very unfriendly and super annoyed. The hostel itself is tiny, just one room with 11 beds and the air-condition is not working properly which made it impossible for us to sleep. I unfortunately have to say the only good thing about this place is the location and the wifi.

This was an ok hostel, the owner had to go through the dorm to his room which was strange. He also didn't speak any English. Good breakfast and good location.

Very chilled. Only issue is that I was never sure who worked there or not. Breakfasts were very decent!

I think that this hostel is really more like a pousada than a hostel. For instance the breakfast is really great but is is better to wake up early to enjoy it well-settled after it is a bit a mess since the place is a bit squeezy. There are not a special atmosphere to make buddies for a night and laught but again it seems more a pousada. But even as a pousada I do think there re rooms for improvement in the facilities and the bed. Make sure to get rid of any dusty covers.

This small hostel feels like a home away from home. The owner lives upstairs and is more than happy to welcome you into his home. He has lots of local friends for you to chat with that really makes it a comfortable place to be. The young lady that prepares breakfast and cleans speaks English a little better than the owner of you need help with anything. The mold on the cieling

Really nice, small hostel with a great owner. Very central and incredibly easy to get to - though it does get quite quiet at times. Would definitely stay again.

This hostel is centrally located right near the pier. Be aware if you have large lugguage that your bed may be upstairs (to get up there is a narrow spiral staircase so it might be too dofficult to take a large suitcase up). The staff are friendly and the breakfast was nice (the staff made fresh juice).
