'It's like staying at a mate's place'... that is how I want you to feel :)
My name is mark, Kia Ora :) And it is my pleasure to welcome all backpackers and young (and young at heart) independent travellers.
Here you are staying with a real Kiwi Paihia local who is a former Contiki European tour guide and New Zealand tour guide in my real Kiwi home and enjoying a real Kiwi lifestyle.
Choose from private or dorm rooms in my house or if you prefer a bit more independence, a self contained unit. Please note the dorm beds and double room are under the house and there are outside steps up the house where you can find the shared bathroom and kitchen, lounge, balcony, BBQ, etc.
It's only a short walk to the beach, shops and bars and yet you are surrounded by native bush and birds. We offer great value in a sunny, secluded, setting and all you need for a fun stay. It's not the Ritz but you will love the friendly Kiwi hospitality, BBQ, WiFi, huge sunny balcony and pool
Plus you will have an awesome experience, not just a place to sleep. I am a traveller to and love to meet like-minded people from all around the world and share the knowledge and info only a local knows :)

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile. Mark showed us the property and pointed out where everything was There were no problems, everything seem effortless Was fantastic to relax the whole weekend

This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Please call, txt or email after you have booked with your arrival time. We don't have a manned reception as such and sometimes we're out and about. But your host Mark lives here and will always organise things to make sure you have no worries arriving and checking in... We can even pick you up in the bus when it's available!
