We stayed in a private room, there was no internet, but try going downstairs to the drug store and order a drink and they will give you the password to their wifi, they wouldn\'t give it to us unless we ordered something. We went to return our keys and leave our luggage the day we checked out and were disappointed to find out they didn\'t open til 11am,

Gino, the owner, was very helpful and hospitable in every way possible. We enjoyed the convenitent location right in the middle of the Aldstat. The Sudpfanne restaurant below has delicious food at good prices as well.

I would go there again. The location is perfect. It is a nice place but the showers could use some repare... The note on the frontdoor is german-style-english that tries to says close the door but don't lock it with a key, what people seem to understand as "close the door but not completely, so don't pull the door into the lock". So several times I arrived finding the frontdoor wide open.... Luckily the town itself is pretty safe.

Clean rooms in and excellent location. Except that, no fun, just one bathroom per floor, cold bathroom, noisy, didn't accept credit cards, no staff during most of the day...

It is really a great location, you can't go wrong. There's all the bars around and some diskotechs. eat at the bar, they have the best Weiner Schnitzel ever!!

you can't imagine a better location! The (small) free breakfast was appreciated, and it was clean and calm, but i think during touristic period, it can be a very noisy place.

It is one of the last option to stay in Heidelberg. 100 % NOT recommendable. The only one good for this place is the location, otherwise, poor or very poor.

the only thing that was nice about this place was the cleaner!!! the blond guy who checked us in was cranky (like we were inconveniencing him by checking in!), he chucked us the key and the bedlinen and that was it! no kitchen, showers were bad (the glass is missing so the whole cubicle gets saturated - get some hooks for gods sake!) and there was no fun, cos there is NO common room. So if you want a room with a bed in a noisy area (next to lots of pubs), then stay here, cos thats all u get!

Very basic, a bed, and a shower and that's about it! Wifi is rather flakey in the hostel, have to go to the bar next door for good reception. Staff arent that friendly or helpful, but they were pretty busy in the bar that night. Bathrooms are run down and not very clean. Great location in the old town just below the Castle, walking distance to all the sights. Directions are pretty useless, go to the Tourist Office at the train station and they'll help you out and sell a bus ticket (?1 city tic...More
