Hostel was overcrowded, not very clean & had substandard service. We paid for 6 bed dorm, but they tried shoving us into 8 bed one. We eventually got into room with 7 beds, one of which was an inflatable mattress. We didn’t get a discount. Number of fire safety violations was too big to count. Security lockers specified on the site are not secure – they all have the same key. There is no DIY laundry, & the washing service offered is not cheap. However, fellow hostellers were fun & trustworthy.

The full sheet set is really old and too much dirty as it were the mattresses. And the correlation between the number of people and the number of toilets is poor

Quite OK as a hostel, good kitchen, but big shame on you for charging 700 Roubles for visa registration - a straightforward thing that any Soviet-style in Russia does free of charge.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was always someone there. They helped give me directions when I didn't know where I was going, and one staff member even let me use his cell phone when I needed to make a call. My only complaint is that there were no lockers large enough to store suitcases so I had to leave my luggage in my shared room all day while I was gone. It would have been easy for someone to take my stuff.

location is good, can easily walk to train station and red square. Only drawback was they painted hall during some of stay, but over now and its clean. Probably best common room and kitchen I’ve seen during my trip. Staff really awesome and friendly.

Pretty average Hostel, nothing special but it delivers what it needs. Rooms are clean and of a reasonable size, facilties are all okay too, nothing to write home about but fine for a few nights in Moscow. Location is better for the train station rather than the city centre though.

this hostel is awful, the staff were rude, the location is pretty poor and the security is awful. i stayed in a dorm with my friend and at 4 in the morning a random man came and slept in our room, in the morning i asked the staff if he was a paying guest and they had no idea who he was......this was just the beginning of the problems during our stay here

Hostel is quite cramped - a lot of people in a small space and the cleaner is rude. Otherwise, the kitchen is nice, some renovations are being made and the owner is really nice.

Note that the Visa Reg is 700rp/ person. Other than that, a good cheap place to stay.
