Great hostel to meet new people. The staff is extremely friendly and puts in a lot of effort to create a great social atmosphere by taking guests out to restaurants, bars and clubs. Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was great (pancakes). The only downside is that there are cooler locations in Roma and Condesa if you want to step out the hostel and be surrounded by restaurants and bars

Absolutely loved the room - spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location of the hostel was good too. The only setback is that it was pretty noisy at night, not just because of some people partying but also because pretty much any sound - ex. someone walking, doors opening/closing - in the corridor echoes.

I may have simply gotten lucky in regards to the people that were staying at DF Suites this past week, but easily the most social hostel I've been to. The place has three great common areas which provides great opportunities to meet others and have a good time. The hostel also sets up a lot of activities, including tours to Teotihuacan, Xochimilco, and a trip to a Lucha libre event. Couldn't recommend the place more highly!

This hostel was the highlight of my trip to Mexico City - it has two nice outdoor areas where people hang out and meet. I arrived Friday and had a great time seeing the nightlife over the weekend with people. They also organised a visit to the Lucha Libre wrestling and you can book a bunch of tours direct from the hostel, to Teotihuacan, etc. The staff were super friendly and very helpful with everything, the location was perfect in downtown and overall very good value for money.

Atmosphere is great. The hostel is somewhat close to historical sites but far from popular bars. Highly recommended!

Great hostel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. You get good value for your money. Breakfast is great and the place is clean. I would definitely come back. I would love to see slightly more flexible check-in times but aside from that, a great place!
