I have never stayed in a \"hostel\"in my life and never thought I would...but this place was full of charm, clean, the staff was so willing to help and the location was great...and so cheap! A bit noisy since at least 4 rooms are located right on the main entrance hall and there is no sound proofing at all, so try to get a room in the back or perhaps in the second story. A bit of humidity in our room, but nothing that can\'t be solved by a few moisture control bags )

The property was under refurbishment, there was banging, building and painting in progress. The front door was permanently locked, so access and egress was obtained by ringing a bell and that failed after 5 days. The owner was very friendly and spoke perfect English and as a gesture of goodwill reduced our final bill.
