Very impressed by friendly, warm and kind staffs. The building is like an old herritage building. But because the room I stayed has no window, I feel stified. However, wholly, I was satisfied.

The staff is really great, they would deserve a much better place to work at. The building is simply totally run-down, it hasn't been touched for decades. The bathrooms are ugly, the sink is broken, and there is basically nowhere else to wash your teeth than in the toilet. The biggest problem is though that the heat is unbearable and ventilation will not help. The rooms without windows are stinky, with windows are so noisy from the street (all night long!) that you won't be able to sleep.

The place is really basic: toilet is western style but with manual flush, I was not even ableto find sink and my room dont even have window and door was half broken. Despite run down state the place is clean and were nice. It is ok place for short layover.

The staff was extremely helpful with everything from special accommodations for extra bags to arranging cab pick ups to suggesting places to explore or eat around the hostel.

Clean room with some nice extra amenities. The staff here was very welcoming and accommodating. That being said, this is not the best hostel in terms of hang out space or socializing with other travelers. But as a place the night before a flight or a simple bed for the night, it'll do just fine.

In all fairness this is a new hostel recently opened. The owner was very friendly and have advice on traveling to airport, where to eat, etc. But the hostel is very basic. Recommend for 1 night stay if you need a cheap bed close to Medan airport (15MR in tuktuk which takes about 25 minutes through the crazy traffic)

A basichomestay with basic facilities, but then, they don't charge much do they?! The staff there arranged for a trip out into the hills to search for orang utans, which was a success, AND let me back in for about an hour to have a shower and change there even though I'd already checked out. Recommended for a few nights if you're keeping busy during the daytimes...

I had a nice stay there. Maybe a mirror in the bathroom for shaving could be useful.
