Great location, in the center of the Old Town. Great atmosphere with shisha bar, great for meeting people and partying till late. I would not recommend to people who prefer quiet places but I had a great time.

Unfortunately we got "upgraded" to a room on the top floor with o wifi access even though it is on all 4 other floors. There is no kitchen, however there is a great common lounge with Turkish lounges (though it gets a bit noisy at night because it becomes a bar and is the only communal area). The location is really good and you can walk to everything.

Very very noise at night due to music and screams from the pub downstair in the same hostel until 2:30am!

It was a brilliant budget hotel with a great restaurant downstairs in a vibrant location right next to everything important in the historical section of town. We loved it.

Basic hostel but no complaints. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is a surprise bonus. If you're looking for somewhere cheap in Sultanahmet this hostel is perfect.

The showers should have curtains, the bathroom gets completely wet when you have a shower and that's uncomfortable. Other than that everything was nice. good location, good breakfast, good wifi signal and very nice staff

This was a great choice to stay in! The staff were so friendly and it was a great place to just hang around in the evening. The hostel is close to a lot of major sites but also makes it easy to get to anywhere else you would want to go. It can get loud at night so if you're looking for a quite place, this is not for you. But if you're looking for a place to meet new people and hang out and have fun then I would highly recommend it!

Good atmosphere, typical Turkish hostel

Good hostel, great location and nice breakfast. It was a bit loud at night with the bar underneath and people running up and down the stairs, but if you're a hard sleeper it shouldn't bother you.

the room was basic but very noisy from outside since it is in a street with a lot of small bars for tourists.

I had a great stay at Sultan Hostel. The location is great, right in the centre of Sultanahmet so it's an easy walk to Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sophia and The Blue Mosque. The room was clean and comfortable and there was a good breakfast provided. I would definitely recommend this hostel!

Location was central to main attractions, breakfast was great, and staff were friendly. Had to ask for bed sheets to be changed when we arrived because they had not done so. Mattresses felt like sleeping on a cloth had been thrown over some springs. Staff came in while we were sleeping and tried to get us to take shots. Came back at 5 am and turned on all the lights. The staff also slept in the spare beds in our dorm during the day and night.

We stayed after a big tour company had taken over the hostel. It would have been good to ave been pre-warned about this as we would have chosen somewhere else to stay. Staff were excellent, although the place is quite run down
