room was pretty small but that's ok given we are only there to sleep. Smell of room was a smokey musty smell that we could not get rid off. Bathroom was the filthiest bathroom I had seen since my student days. Clumps of mould in shower and ceiling was black with mould. We did arrange to swap rooms the following day but message got missed in staff handover. We decided to move to another hotel but staff wasn't going to let us go and made this difficult and upsetting.

it was bad smell in the room, all that came from the bath. bath was dirty, there was a long hair hanging over the toillete when i first got in. the glass for the toothbrush was so dirty, it gave the impression that something is alive in there. horrible. breakfast was not to bad but nothing special, too. the only possitiv thing was the situaiton of the hotel, everything was near and easy to reach. for sure i wont got there again, better spend a bit more and get a clean place, hopefully. I would always book this hotel again.

Everything was very good. But toilets could have been a little cleaner.

be prepared to get a “smoky” stay: the hall, on whose wall a smoking ban hangs, is used as a smoking area by the staff and customers, thus inundating with dense smoke the above rooms. After the first night we thus decided to check out (none of us smokes), even renouncing our deposit, but they wanted us to pay for the remaining nights as well. So we gave up and insulated the room door with wet towels every night, worked just fine

This is definately not a fun place but it's not meant to be. It a great value bargin Hotel. Very clean and excellend aircon in a hot and humid Istanbul

Run-down shabby hotel. Bathroom in bad repair, blocked toilet, irregular hot water. Visits to room by hotel mice. One room-cleaning/towel-change during 6 days. The lift (whenever working), begins on 2nd floor. Poor breakfast. A friend tried to check out early and was told she'd have to pay all booked days. I would avoid this place.

Amazing location, very cheap price for a single ensuite room, not much of a social place but if you don't mind that, then it's a great choice.

Nice and quite and chilled if you don't want traditional party hostel environment - was great for us

This is the great place to stay in Istanbul. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
