Sumathi and Jay are incredibly friendly and warm. They were excellent hosts, and made me feel at home here when I first arrived and were very helpful as I was adjusting to being in India. It may be a little on the expensive side compared to other hostels, but I think it is well worth it. Sumathi cooks a delicious South Indian breakfast every morning and Jay is fun to talk to. There is good wi-fi, nice rooms, private bathrooms, filtered water and a kitchen. A great experience overall!

The family who host the homestay are lovely, but there were no towels and I ended up having to bucket wash because the water coming out of the shower became scalding within 40 seconds of it being turned on and the temperature control did not work. Considering I had paid for a working shower, this was very irritating. The location is decent, but overall I would look elsewhere if I am in Bangalore again because I think this homestay was a little expensive for what it was versus what was advertised

I arrived when the family was getting over a very bad flu which apparently left the mother who normally runs the guesthouse unable to work. However this did not stop the family from booking guests in rooms. I arrived to a room with a dirty bathroom which looked like someone had walked on the wet floor with their shoes & then combed their black hair and left it all over the floor, I asked if someone was coming to clean and the daughter said shed take care of it & she did.

Pleasant homestay, friendy hosts, clean room and bedsheets. Hearty and tasty breakfasts. Good transport location (Airport Shuttle stop, Metro station). Excellent place to make a stop over in Bangalore.
