This is a really nice traditional place - even living in Japan for a few years, I rarely go to Ryokan this nice for such a relatively low price. Breakfast was really good, room was spacious and even had a nice garden view past the sliding doors - and, it was really warm despite the wintry wind outside. Staff were really friendly and even dried our shoes for us - they were toasty warm the next morning, when it was only a 3/4 minute walk to the main market for a great sushi lunch!
