Summit Zero was one of (if not the) best hostels we stayed in during our three month trip around Europe. The home cooked meals in the evening were delicious and very affordable, the beds were very comfortable, the commons area was very large and had a warm fireplace, and the showers were hot. The hostel is the perfect base for hikes to Mount Olympus. Pericles and his father are the nicest hosts one could ask for! Thanks for making our stay in Litochoro a great one!

bit of a pain in the ass to get to in low season, unless you want to walk along the highway you have to get a taxi from the train station. during high season there are buses but in low season there isnt which is lame because although its nice to be near to the beach you are nowhere near the town/train station, and the town is where all the hikes leave from. otherwise it is nice, no lockers, only wifi. clean bathrooms, has a bar, no kitchen. some days there is breakfast some there isnt.

What more could you ask for, a wicked location near Mt Olympus, a sandy beach, a cosy bar with friendly locals, a welcoming host and a beautiful big dog. We still have some climing on the mountain to do and hope to return one day Perry! x

Absolutely awesome place to stay! The staff go out of their way to help you. The only downside is that it is not in the town, however, you can get there easily by bus or taxi. Still definitely worth staying there!

Summit Zero is the only hostel in the area, but that's ok because it's the only one you'll ever need. Wonderful staff and beautiful location. Stop looking around - you should be staying here!

The host Perry (Parry?) is a super nice guy... I went there with my friend to climb Mt. Olympus, and we had a really relaxing time resting there before moving on to our next stops. Place is cozy, staff super helpful....great place to stay! Highly recommended!

Summit Zero is more like a lodge than a hostel... you instantly feel at home. It is located right on the beach, which makes for a beautiful and relaxing setting. Not too far from town, and at a very reasonable 15 euro a night... can't get any better than that. Peri is awesome and knows pretty much everything there is to know about climbing Mount Olympus. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking to have an enjoyable time in the Litochoro area.
