Property Information:
Currently, accommodations are usually limited to female guests.
However, males are welcome to reserve the entire hostel for a private booking.
Welcome to Osaka! Very cozy, old Japanese style house.
SUMO BACKPACKERS are located in Nakatsu in the heart of OSAKA.
Easily accessible - only 1 minute walk from subway Midosuji line Nakatsu station (1 stop from Umeda station) or a 15 minute walk from JR Osaka station.
Subway Midosuji line (red) is the most important and used line for Osaka's people and it passes through Shin-Osaka, Umeda, Shinsaibashi, Namba and Tennoji.
About 30 min. to KYOTO and KOBE. 10 min. to SHINSAIBASHI or NANBA (another downtown in Osaka)
We provide free internet access, wi-fi, bilingual TV, and a DVD player.
We also provide linen free of charge, however please bring your own towel.
If you do not arrive after 3 hours we will have to cancel your booking. If you are delayed for some reasons, please contact us to let us know.
We do not accept credit cards.
Please make sure you exchange some currency at the airport because it is difficult to find banks in town to exchange currency.
NOTE: CHECK-IN time is between 4pm and 10PM

This was my first time staying at an all-girls' hostel and I was very impressed. The staff was very professional and friendly and will meet you at the station to make sure you don't get lost. This is a small hostel, but it's very comfortable and has everything you need. When I stayed here, there weren't many guests so I had a lot of space to myself. Would definitely recommend this hostel, and I would stay here again!
