My friend and I had a nice two night stay in the hostel. The owner was really hospitable and helpful, giving us photocopied directions to the bus terminal, advice on visiting the aquarium and getting a train pass, and was otherwise really pleasant. Beds and linens very clean and comfortable.

Fantastic location - on the same line as ShinOsaka station & an area calld Nanba, which is where all the action seemed to be. Owner was friendly and well-organised. Place was clean. Good hostel to mingle and meet people, but the open-plan mixed dorm of 5 bunk beds doesn't give you much privacy. The place had a fun 'hostel' atmosphere, you're allowed to scribble your comments all over the walls. There is an interesting poster in the downstairs loo. Overall, I would stay here again.

This is a very small hostel, with 10 beds. If i were a girl staying there by myself i would not feel so safe. Each night the lady who works there goes home, so the only people there are the backpackers. There is no lock to the shower room, or the upstairs toilet. The kitchen was not well equiped, but it is close to some great food places (cheap udon resturant 5min walk away). Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely hostel, atmosphere depends on the other 9 guests as its so small. Nice Japanese feel, good price and great staff.

Very unique place, really cool and yeah...unique, you would have to see it for yourself. Not hard to find from the station but they come and get you anyway!

Clean and small hostel with helpful staff near Umeda station 1 min walk to Midosuji subway line. Because it\'s so small you easily make friends and do something together.

It was very nice to stay there, especially the bed was nice and cosy. the only thing missing maybe was a comfortable couch in the lobby :) If u give a short description or draw a plan how to get there from the train station and put it online, I'm sure people will have less trouble to get there. All the best!

I travel alot whenever I goto Japan this is one place I always stop by. Osaka is pretty much the center of japan. Flights cheap, Japan Rail almost most parts only 2 or 3 hours by train. It has internet, very close to the metro station, only two stops from japan rail, a little walk for the hunkyu line. The lady that runs the place maybe not always there but she is very helpful and charming. tops 10 people in the place and has hot water, A/C is so so but besides that everything else top notch

I enjoyed it here, it was fun and i met some nice people. The room is split more like a 6 and 4 rather than a big 10 bed dorm. The location is decent enough and just walk down the Midosuji line easily to Umeda and even to Namba and the other stations as it doesnt take too long and you can have a good nosey rather than being stuck underground all the time. However you may want to take the underound if you're fat (but be warned as there are steps at the exits). I would stay here again.
