Location is great and it was an overall nice hostel to stay in. The downfalls were definately the pee on the floor after all the tourists had a night out. Something you cannot blame the hostel for but can only blame the other guests for not being considerate of their fellow travellers. Also, there were many strange people checking in and out at random hours with no luggage and being led to a different part of the hostel which leads me to believe there was other activities going on there.

I don't get why do people blame this hostel so much? I liked it! I stayed in double on the 1 floor LIKED: Located in China town (with an awesome place to eat 10 meters on the right) quite close to subway, walki distence to soho, LIL Italy districts, decently cleaned showers (always hot), no coacroaches or bugs, toiletrette, paperflip-floppers. disliked: too hot at night, no window in the room, room is small (tho there was a sink)

Staff is not very kind. It seems like a prostitution motel. I recommend to improve decoration and light.

Here is something I must say. During my staying for 2 days, super size bug came out. And the room is just like a jail. seriously. there is a bed and small desk. That's it. couldnt open my suitcase. no space. that's it.

Other than having a good value for money, this placed sucked. I'm an adventurous traveller but I couldn't believe the big bed bug bites I got. I've stayed in many hostels throughout my travels and I never gotten worse bed bug bites than in my stay here. And I was only here for 2 nights.

Questionable hairs all over the bed. My first instinct after seeing the room was to do a bed-bug check, and thankfully didn't find any. The shared bathroom and shower smelled and looked so bad that we didn't bother to use them. There is a layer of grim and dirt around the perimeter of the room that was actually quite impressive. This is a super cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay here again, and definitely never longer than one night.

Awful. The sheets are dirty, the employees are unfriendly and rude, there's people smoking in the hall of the building. Definitely: NEVER come back.

This is not a Hotel.. It is a Hostel. It is not on the outside of Chinatown - it's IN Chinatown. This place was disgusting. Yes, it was cheap, and the rooms were so small. But the cleanliness was appalling. Having to walk up all those stairs past the cat litter trays, old microwaves and the poor cat who was so ill. I called animal services. After a couple of nights here, I cancelled my booking - put the fees down to a loss and moved to a nicer Hotel out of Chinatown.

I would never stay at this hostel, only if you need a place to crash and are desperately poor. It is not worth the crappy stay. The room smells. They did not provide clean blankets and sheets. The showers are dirty. It is basically a cooperative living situation. They do not provide any amenities and for the price, I should have gotten a hotel. Do not stay here at all costs.
