Staff was really helpful and the 'shared relax room' had a nice atmosphere. The bad thing about this hostel is that it is really dirty. All the equipment in the kitchen was greasy and sticky. The bathroom and sleeping room had big black spots of fungi. The showers were not working properly. Our shared bathroom got cleaned only once during our 4 days visit. I don't recommend this.
Really cozy hostel with great staff. The bathroom and shower facilities are awesome, and very clean! The patio area is really nice, too. It's within walking distance of everything in Belgrade, although not smack in the middle of the city center. I would return in a heartbeat.
It is a very nice hostel, I especially liked the room and sitting areas. But there was only one bathroom for girls in the hostel, one for guys. Definitely not enough. The kitchen was a little dirty. But the location pretty bad. You had to walk for about 30 minutes to get to the city centre or to the train station... Further than expected!
Really helpful and friendly staff! Great value for money too! Church of St. Sava very close.

I booked two days. I stayed two weeks. What else ?
Nice hostel. It's not located in the center of town, but I like that because if gives possiblities to explore less obvious areas. The staff was friendly, cute and helpful. Great kitchen and common room and garden. Near the hostel are also great opportunities to go out for all sort of meals. Only minus is maybe that there are only two bathrooms (shower + toilet located in one room), one for boys and girls. We had the luck that not that many girls were staying so it didn't really cause problems.
One of the male staff woke us up and was grumpy. They charged us extra to store luggage after check out time and made us feel unwelcome. There was a lingering body odour in our dorm that didn't seem to belong to any guests. However Living room and garden area was nice and they had beds for us when we arrived at 6am which was good.
We moved to Sun Hostel because our one in Belgrade was much too big and antisocial, and we STOKED with our decision. The staff are all really helpful and friendly, and the shared spaces comfortable and easy to hang out with different people in. The kitchens big and well stoked, and the rooms are a great size. You're about 10 minutes walk from the main street and monuments, then from there another 20 to the citadel. Guys you're awesome.

What a fantabulous hostel! It's furnished really nicely, and feels so relaxed and comfortable. I came across 4 staff members are all were happy, keen to chat and ridiculously helpful when it came to advice for Belgrade and beyond. The kitchen was very well-equipped and there was a gorgeous cat, Mao. He's quite self-assured. The shower in the mens bathroom needs a damn good clean, though.
Such a lovely hostel!! Felt like I was in someone's house, I was so at home. Lovely garden area to chill, and sofas and tv inside too. Rooms were big and staff so helpful. I was meant to check out at 10.30am but because there was no one else booked for my bed that day the receptionist let me keep the bed until my train at 10pm for no extra charge, which was so kind! All staff really knowledgeable of the city too. Stay here!!!
All I can say - best place to stay in the best city/. Can't wait to come back.
The hostel was set in a nice building and had a great common area with tv and couches and tables and outside garden area. The kitchen was really well stocked. The rooms were clean and big, and the bathrooms were fine. The staff were really nice and so helpful. The hostel was about 30min from the bus/train walking and 20min to the old town, so the location could have been better.
Last year we were so satisfied with sun hostel that we decided to stay there again this year. We were not dissapointed, it has a great common room and terrace for meeting other travelers and has a great value for money. Next time that we are in Belgrade we will stay there again for sure.
We stayed in the apartment upstairs which is amazing with a massive balcony overlooking Belgrade. Hostel staff were great and introduced us to their Serbian friends and took us to the Beer Festival! Would definitely recommend staying here!
The garden is so nice -you can drink and chat and meet new people! But I definetely loved the whole hostel. Natasa is very helpful and the location is great. Plus, the other guests were respectful and silent. Clean and cosy! I'll come back for sure!
Great staff! Really friendly and helpful people work there! I also appreciated the lovely terrace, perfect to meet other travellers or to drink something. They provide also computers.
It is a good place filled with much beauty and the people there are friendly and open.

The atmosphere is amazing just go there! It's like staying at somebody's house really really nice and good kitchen facilities. You can walk to the city center and it is pretty close to the party place at the river too. I enjoy staying there and the staff makes you feel at home. Book online to sure to get a bed.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hostel. For the value I was expecting less and it wa more then I expected. All was just excellent. I would like to thank to the receptionists Andrijana, Darko, Natasa and Mira, everyone was professional and friendly, they have had a challenging situation with one guest who was not so well educated and was coming from a different culture from Asia. The most fun was with one guy that stayed in the hostel, great sense of humor and very friendly.
