Everything was perfect. Very cheap and great staff. Gave us a free drink or two and helped us with taxis and with doing anything we wanted to do. Great location with a nice bar and great restaurant right across the street.

Ok if like us your on a budget and your only interested in a place to get your head down and not too worried about the state of the place then this is perfectly fine (i would return myself!). However its maybe not ideal if your looking for something thats lets say seen better days! The location is about 20mins from downtown and you can organise tours though the manager (do haggle tho!), we did get a good deal on a tour through Jordan and if you have Ali as a guide you can't go wrong.

This hotel cost $11/nt and I would not stay again. The staff lacked a reasonable about of hospitality. I would have been treated better in an alley. It wasn't until the next morning when the manager gave me a surprise courtesy wake up knock at my door that had any appreciation for them. He followed that up with bargaining his review on hostelworld.com. There is a moderate amount of value here for $11 per night but I would spend more if needed to stay somewhere else.

Can't say enough about this hostel - Jabar the manager is amazingly helpful and went out of his way to help us and organise our trip through Jordan. Picked us up from the bus station, drove us to dinner each night, had breakfast waiting each morning - brilliant. Great location - 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Jaber goes above and beyond to make sure your stay in Jordan is everything you want it to be. Your safety and peace of mind are his primary concern. We didn't want to leave!!!

Good location if you want to catch a bus. As the hotel is at Abdali bus station. No hot water, bathroom was very far from 5 star. The hotel guy really wants to sell tours and drinks.   Read Owner Comments
