As many have said, when we arrived we were taken to another hotel, not the SunMoon hotel. So we didn't get what we paid for /expected. Nonetheless, room was clean and comfy &close to station. There are no kitchen facilities and the walls were too thin. We could hear our neighbours going at it. Also, the staff talk loudly from 7:00 til 1:00am ish. They should be more respectful and let their guests sleep. It is for the noise reasons as to why I wouldn't return.

Alarm went off on our second night there, it started at 10:30pm and didn't stop till the manager came in at 10am the next day. It was like sleeping next to a smoke detector and there was no way to stop it. When I tried to contact someone about it the call went to voicemail so we had to try and sleep with it. The ear plugs we had from our flight didn't even help. When I tried talking to the manager in the morning he wasn't sympathetic and didn't seem to care that it kept us up all night.

The room plus private bathroom was an absolute bargain, especially since it's only about 5 minutes from Rome Termini station. It was clean and wifi was good. However, since there isn't staff 24/7, there can be some problems such as the alarm being set off two nights in a row and having to wait for someone to call the manager as I couldn't call in Italy with my sim. Also, if you need to check out early, be sure to let them know so you will have someone to give the keys to.

SunMoon is okay, no hot water the first morning we were there, followed by an alarm ringing the second night we were there that didn't cease for an hour! This isn't a hostel, more like a group of apartments therefore not ideal for socialising. Breakfast is a few hundred metres down the road, includes juice, coffee & crossaint which is okay!

Clean hostel in a great location next to the Termini station, easy to find. Very helpful staff, good wifi and towels are replaced every day. Restaurant next door is also great!
