The room is REALLY hot and there's only a tiny window. My group of friend got split in 2 rooms. One of them had a really old fan that barely worked and the other one only got a fan on the 2nd day of stay. Even with the fan it was unbearable. No one was able to sleep properly, we all kept waking up in the night, those were terrible nights of sleep. The staff is not really nice either.

It's a pretty nice hostel, but it's it's for those who want to be very quite, not much happening there.

They have a fridge to store food and access to a small kitchen. Beds comfortable, rooms ok but a bit of mildew forming in corners. Close to bus station and restaurants & supermarket (Stari Grad is tiny though). Corridors a little noisy, so ear plugs were necessary. Not really enough toilets/bathrooms for amount of guests, had to wait occasionally. Manager seemed to delight in smoking in the guests' dining room during breakfast hours... overall, cheap and cheerful

The beds were kid's beds, so way too short and too narrow; the bathrooms were very dirty: hair in the shower, grapes and paper in the tub, the toilet also not cleaned; apparently kid's furniture but grown ups prices :(

The hostel is very basic and covers all essential needs. The staff are friendly and helpful and it is conveniently located in Stari Grad. It is very close to the bus stop but no directions were provided so it took a while for us to find it. The streets in Stari Grad are easy to get lost in so I advise finding a map I'm advance!

Good value!

Great location, the hostel is right in the center of Stari Grad and is literally a minute`s walk from the beach. The owner was amazingly helpful and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. A very comfortable place to stay!

Dirty, noisy hostel with zero charactre. No common rooms except for a cafeteria-like restaurant. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpfull. We booked a double room and ended up in a dorm room instead - without a refund. Worst hostel we've ever stayed - and that says something.

The atmosphere and a guy who was in charge for those three nights that we spent there was really not good. We felt like we should't be there,we did't get any breakfast as we were supposed to,the kitchen was bad,no detergent to wash the plates, the constant smell of cigarettes,... Also, the receptionist didn't want to charge us when we arrived (as he should) but he charged us around 8 euros more on our departure because he had to pay some taxes which we would't mind if he just told us about that.

The receptionist was smoking when I arrived. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. The room I was in was dirty - dead ants on the bed. After a rain storm my room was flooded - more dirt all over the floor. I got moved to a room which was much nicer but the atmosphere in the hostel/hotel was very grim. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

Nice hostel. Friendly staff. But a little to hot in the room, a fan would be nice.

It was not too much cleaness. There was a bathrroom that you couldn't be stand up inside the bath because there was a kind of wall-ceiling that invade the space, but there were other shower rooms ok. The mattress were not confortable and the kitchen was weird, there was not in that moment soap to clean the dishes... But you now, if you're a backpacker for one night it's ok. It's a big hostel and if I were the owner I'll reform some rooms.

Shower was cold, multiple power-cuts while we were there, unfriendly receptionist. Atmosphere, for backpackers, was terrible. Really not a pleasant stay. While the location was close enough to the port, staying here basically ruined our opinion of Starigrad. I'd recommend paying extra to just stay in Hvar City.

Very good location, excellent stuff. Good value for money. Probably will stay there again if i come back.

No fan or air con available so Small rooms become far too hot. Kitchen facilities are very strange and there Is no information given by staff. Great location though (once finding it initially)

There was no air conditioning, and not even a fan in the rooms. It was so hot in the room. The front desk was rarely attended and the information they gave us was not very useful for getting a bus/taxi to the ferry terminal. We would definitely recommend staying in a more expensive hotel or another apartment that at least has a fan.

Very good location in the heart of the Old Town. Friendly and very helpful staff, very good value for the money and only place we have found with the breakfast included in the price.

Great place, extremely friendy stuff, the food was tasty, would stay there again!

A bit of a strange place to stay... there were a bunch of school kids staying here on summer camp while we were there. However we had a room apart from them and didn't see or hear much of them. The staff were amazing... they let us cook in their industrial kitchen and even washed our dishes for us!

If you go to Stari Grad, you have to stay in Sunce hostel. Nice place, quiet, clean and comfortable. They gave us a room for 3, even though we had booked a room for 2. They are very helpfull and try to explain whatever you ask.
