Sundancer Backpackers Resort Reviews

This hostel has a very cool, chilled out vibe- love the communal area with the sofas and tv area, outside bbq & swimming pool etc. Good fun if you're looking to meet a lot of people. Like many hostels in Perth it does have a lot of somewhat permanent residents but that is to be expected. Upstairs rooms could do with a good clean (mine smelt of urine!) and a bit of modernization. But if you're looking for cheap, safe stay this is the place.

It is in a great location near everything. Staff very nice but was in a heat wave and not ac so even though I love the heat it was almost impossible to sleep in 85f temps.

the rooms are messy, no storage and i have bites on my legs its a long term backpackers so you can feel like an outsider lots of smoking going on out back and lots of people taking acid otherwise good location

I had an awesome time in sundancer, the people here are great and its a really friendly place. the layout is nice and there is a bar at reception. theres also a swimming pool and sun deck (whick would be great in summer) and its right in the heart of freo. 1 thing i would say tho is that people smoke weed every night out the back but at least its kept outside. this is a bit of a party hostel and outside can be quite loud at night. but overall i would really recomend it!!

Really good atmosphere, great location and friendly staff. The hostel is a old cool building and the people are open for just a chat. Cheap bar, nice showers, a bit dirty but that's what's hostels like. You can't ask for more! Great place to be!
