Sunferia Inn Reviews

May be because of the low season, there was no one or very few guests staying here. The location is out of city centre though there are direct buses go directly to the Ferry Port Terminal or Gongbei city center. For those who are travel two together, perhaps hotels in the city area may be offer a better value especially if you can not communicate in mandrain to the taxi or bus drivers.

This hostel is a good hour by bus from anywhere interesting and it is extremely hard to find. We asked about 8 taxi drivers before any knew where it was, and then the driver just took us to the nearby bus stop and we had to call the hostel for directions. The staff don't speak English and the limit of the help they could provide is to give a bus number. There are about 8 bedrooms for one squat toilet, and it's always flooding. I wouldn't stay here again.

Softest beds in China!

Tricky to find and a quite out of central area, this place nevertheless offers decent affordable accommodation and features friendly English speaking staff.

It was very cheap and clean. The neighborhood was a little scary at night, just because I dont think the people are used to foreigners and I attracted alot of attention. The owner spoke perfect English and it is right next to a bus stop

Location is a bit far from Gongbei. It took 20-25 minutes by taxi from Gongbei. I was hard to find the hostel because of no sign. It's the highest building there. Room was clean but there were few stains in a bed sheet and saw two begs beside a wall. :(

The staff at Sunferia are top notch. They were helpful in every possible way. The owner speaks perfect English and the night clerk, while not as fluent in English, is very nice and extremely helpful. It was a good bargain for a solo room with air-con! I would stay here again!

A nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Friendly and helpful staff. I have already planned a trip back.
