Lovely location and lovely staff. Bar was open loads and really nice atmosphere there. Rooms were clean, a bit chilly at times though, maybe extra blankets should be made available in the winter months? One set of showers only had curtains for privacy, but there were some available with doors when we asked. Showers again pretty chilly, water was warm but obviously would be nice if the shower rooms were heated a tad more. Overall, really nice place.

Good location with lots of pubs and bars around and just a 10 minute walk to the station. Staff were nice enough althiugh not super helpful. The showers could be improved but the room was very large and rooms and halls decorations were super fun

Friendly staff, friendly people. Great price.

IT was so lovely, welcoming and amazing stay.

The best of the hostel are the staff, specially Fred, who was very funny and kind with me and my family. The hostel is located close to a 24h market with a lot of veggie food, which was great !

The vibe of this hostel is very grim. I've stayed in hostels all over Europe and this has been my least favorite. The service is sooooo slow. It took me 40 minutes to order one drink at the bar. The rooms are cold and not very clean. The people that chose to stay at this place weren't very friendly. It's also in a very sketchy area in Berlin, I didn't feel safe walking around at night. And to top it off, my wallet was stolen here. Which has never happened to me in my 10+ years of traveling.

Great location for east berlin (particularly for Berghain), a little pricey over New Years but that's as expected. Very friendly staff! Wifi was a little ordinary.

The staff is very helpful and friendly and the hostel puts a focus on security it seems, which is a good thing in that particular area of Berlin. The interior of the room was quite cheap and our room and the "double" we booked was a "twin" with beds pushed together, which was really uncomfortable. The sheets that you get from the reception only for a deposit, smelled strange and the blankets were way too thin for winter, we were pretty cold. The walls are very thin and its quite noisy overall.

Some rules need enforcing, there were some random people one night who kept running around and loudly banging on doors. Also in my room there were people simply smoking out the window which could be frustrating as the smell comes back in, but I couldn't see any smoke alarms which would pick up on this. The general bathroom facilities are kept fairly clean, and the showers are pretty good.

Super chilled and cool hostel, would definitely use again.

Super clean and great location however the wifi is almost unusable and my 8 bed dorm had only 2 powerpoints

Enjoyed my time here. Funky place in Friedrichshain but only a 10minute walk to the cool Kreuzberg District. Cheap and plentiful breakfast compared to some other hostels. I don't see much of a problem with the single key system thing.

Doesn't have a kitchen but if you ask, you can get access to the private kitchens. Super trendy and cool place. Showers felt dodgy for a girl ... But overall a pretty chill experience

Good location, good atmosphere in the hostel, and the rooms are a good size. Beds were comfy, although we were expecting a double bed rather than 2 single mattresses put together. The ensuite shower was great. Only complaint would be that our room was dusty and had lots of little flies in it.

Our dorm was quite dusty (especially under the bunk and on the cornets of the bunk bed ladder). The communal kitchen ill-stocked (no bowls etc) and there was only one old tea towel. There should be a fan in the shower room.

Bed wasn't the best but that's to be expected, the single key for the room while unconventional, worked out well.. Good location with a nice bar to meet fellow travelers.

Okay hostel, close to u- and s-bahn. Clean and a good bar.

Well located for partying (thought that most famous Berlin Clubs are kind of "fully booked" by German citizens & Berliner on Saturday night and it's a bit utopic to think you'll get inside, especially if your german is poor. So go Pubbing saturday night, and Clubbing Thursday, Sunday or in some mesure on Friday when they actually need a bit more tourists. The Berghain you might get in but your chances are as poor as snow in Bangkok, but who knows : who knows with climat changes... !)

Good hostel

Good localisation, very close to the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations, nice, helpful stuff and delicious, cheap breakfast. The solution of giving only one key for the whole room is a little bit inconvenient though as well as charging deposit for bed sheets.
