Sunflower Hostel Reviews

Had a great stay at sunflower hostel and would certainly recommend it to anyone. The staff were excellent, very helpful. I hope to visit again soon. Cheers.

It is a very nice hostel, close to the crazy area of Berlin, close to the S station. The people staying in the room next to us were a bit too noisy, but that's not actually the hostel's responsibility.

In the underground mood of Berlin, right next to bars, clubs and the east side gallery... Simply perfect

Lovely breakfast, outside sunny seating possiblilities and central to east Berlin. Helpful staff. All in all well worth a stay.

BAD BEDDING and BAD SOUNDPROFING

Nice atmosphere. Cheap and good breakfast. Cheap and good drinks. The fact that the bar is open 23 hours a day is just great. Mattresses were very hard though and smell of toilets very strong, although they looked clean. But the overall relation money=value is very good.

Nice place. Anna was great, very helpful and an amazing bartender with a super haircut!

Everything was fine except for the dirty men's toilet on our floor (somebody decided to pee all over the floor and this wasn't cleaned up) and the lack of warm water in the showers.

The hostel has great location and amazing atmosphere which is the biggest adventage. The stuff is also very nice and helpful. But I have to say that the big problem for me was the toilets and the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are made jn a very nice way as everyone has kind of the own part of the room but the lockers are really bed (don't seem like you can actually lock anything) and the bathrooms are dirty, always wet and there is no place to put your things anywhere.

Cool neighbourhood, close to plenty of bars and restaurants. Staff weren\'t always overly helpful or friendly though.
