Sunflower was lovely and clean and really close to silom rd markets. Although down an alley way this is nothing to be disturb about. Great value for money - only thing lacking was back packer interaction and notices on actives and places to go, companies to go with. If your a couple and just interested in doing your own thing this is perfect for you!

This was a great place to stay. Huge rooms, very clean, good bathroom, air-con, tv, fridge. Staff was friendly, and security was high. Nearby is a Citi ATM (no atm fee), BTS skyrail, and MRT subway. Lots to do around the area, only downside is that it's kinda hidden off the main road, but after you go there once or twice, the area starts to looks familiar. They let us keep their bags there for a few days for free. I would stay again.

A great place to stay. Close to MRT & skytrain stations so easy to get around. I stayed in a twin room for a night then a single room both were well decorated & comfortable. Air conditioning & hot shower worked well. Room cleaned every day. Fridge in room & water each day even hot drinks available. The best thing was the helpfulness of the staff. They were brilliant at helping me get to places & of they didn't know they would find out - so helpful & friendly.

It is down a very dingy street but it's situated VERY near to the skytrain so it doesn't really matter that much. the rooms are very clean and were cleaned everyday. the bed is kinda hard but I didn't have too many problems with that. Not that much to complain about but if I came back to Bangkok I would probably try somewhere else as we booked this less than 24 hours before we stayed there.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms, nice and helpful staff. The place is close to everything that is needed. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Bangkok too

The Sunflower Place provided us with good clean accomodation. Wifi worked well. Had tea/coffee facilties in foyer. It is a little hard to find but any Tuk Tuk driver worth his salt will find it. The main fault we found was the bed. It was the hardest bed we've ever slept on. Had two night on it and ended up with a bad back and sore hips. Everything about it is good, location, clean, TV, wifi, front desk help etc but the bed was rock solid.

Bed linen isn't changed regularly or even if its needed. Got some massage oil on the sheets and the bed was remade with the same sheets.

Hostel staff are very helpful, security is excellent and the place is always clean. However I didn't like the Silom area at all. It's a bit of a CBD area yet for every bank there must be 5 strip joints, brothels or pimps that hassle you constantly. The lovely Thai cuisine that can be found easily in other Bangkok areas is also hard to come by around here. And even though the hostel is located just off the main road the street it's on is a very dark and creepy one to walk, particularly at night

We stayed in a double bed private room. It was spacious, bright and clean. The WiFi worked well as did the air con. The staff are very nice and helpful. There is a small kitchen you can use but not much in the way of plates or silverware. Still, it's nice to use the microwave. We liked the location (Silom) much better compared to Khao San Rd. Silom has all the facilities you need but it's not as touristy. Close to the Sky Train and subway.

Nice place to stay;rooms were very clean with lots of amenities. Location very convenient for the Silom area. The only issue was that tours/massages/other services booked through the hostel were not great value. I would stay there again, but I wouldn't book/buy additional services through the hostel.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever lived in. It is clean and cozy. The service is excellent, no matter it is the sanity or the consultation to the staff.

Great place - the biggest issue is the neighborhood. It is located in a very dark alley across from "Thai Boys Massage". It is scary for a woman alone, I'll be honest. No one gave me any trouble, but the environment is such that there is opportunity. Aside from that, it is sparkling clean and comfortable, though more of a hotel than a hostel (I did not meet any of my fellow travelers). Very quiet. The older lady that works the front desk is friendly if you try, but she cannot multitask!!
