Great family run hostel. Location is perfect for lots of activities and only a few minutes walk to the town center. The staff are more than helpful and will go above and beyond to cater to your every need. The environment is very friendly and a perfect hostel if your looking to relax and have some downtime during your travels. Couldn't recommend Sunhouse backpackers more! Stay there - you'll love it!

This hostel was absolutely amazing, one of the best we have stayed at by far! The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way all the time to help us. It was very clean and fresh, lovely atmosphere, such a relaxed vibe. Great garden and front balcony to chill out, the kitchen was amazing and very well-equipped. Perfect location. Do not have a bad thing to say about this place, definitely recommend it!!

Great and very dedicated hosts, who create a home away from home. A place to rest whilst parties are close by. Beautiful beaches are easy to reach. One of the friendliest , cleanest and nicest places I have stayed at.

It's more a house then a hostel. Really friendly fun and quaite. Not a party hostel. Over all really liked it!

Incredible! Right next to Barra de Lagoa, shops within a minutes walk and perfect place to just chill out. We were exhausted when we arrived and staff were so hospitable, easy to get to everything in Florianopolis so just a 10 bus ride to the beaches. The hostel is always clean, which makes for a comfortable stay as well as having access to a great kitchen and hot showers. We loved our stay in Florianopolis, very homely and staff helped us with everything (even booking a flight for us!)
