The whole village essentially consists of hotels and seems to be only aimed at getting money from tourists, attitudes of staff and people unfortunately reflect this as well. Would recommend to rather see rice terraces else where, value for money in the whole is below average with other places in China.

Absolutely incredible location. Staff so lovely and helpful and organised taxis for us all around the area. Cannot recommend enough!

Very nice hostel with a charming owner. Unfortunately she speaks nearly no english. The Room was sufficient and clean. The Hostel itself is a bit hard to find, but there are friendly people on the street who will help you. I wouldn´t want to arrive at night though.

Thank you very much for your review of our guesthouse! Hope to see you next time!

The location is far away from the road and almost impossible to find. At night the village paths have almost no lighting making finding your way even more difficult. The guesthouse has no common areas to sit in and no roof terrace - a common feature we saw in every other hostel / guesthouse we passed. The room was small, damp and not worth the price we paid. Dinner was OK but served very slowly. Breakfast was bland and tasteless. The only bright spot was Ellen the temporary staff member. Avoid.
