Friendly staff. Recommended a good place for local Thai food. Away from the bars and clubs though.

Penzy, David and Anna were awesome & I loved my stay at Sunny/Penzy Guesthouse! It's about a 3 minute walk from the beach & many restaurants nearby which makes up for the fact that the guesthouse doesn't have one. Penzy booked 3 discounted tours for me and I loved them all. The rooms were cleaned by sweet, hardworking Anna every day every day. I got a scooter on one of the days & Penzy showed so much concern - she was wonderful. Thank you Penzy, David and Anna - you guys are just too lovely!

Nice owner. Location ok. Beach not so great (wouldn't travel there again). No internet in the room, otherwise the room was good. Comfortable bed, Tv with Dvd player, towels, cupboard- all good. Enjoyed our stay there because the owner is friendly and cares about things. We don't recommend going to that area of the island though.

GREAT place! We enjoyed it a lot there. It takes like 5 minutes to get to the beach and the staff is just awesome. Very helpful and very nice people (actually almost the greatest staff on our whole trip). There might be places that are on busier parts of Chaweng Beach Rd but theres no other place for me on Koh Samui!!! Very very recommended!

Nice place very helpful staff, clean but position could be better and wifi unless you have a room on the first floor no wifi in room, but the staff will go the extra mile for you as I saw when a friend had a bad scooter accident they really went out of their way to help when he was in hospital.

Penzy, the concierge, was amazing....helped us sort out taxis, find discounts on trips, and was so friendly. Was concerned for our well being and also kind and friendly, as is her partner Dave. We booked more nights on our return through Koh Samui!

It's a good place with super helpful staff, however if you are a backpacker don't stay on Koh Samui. Go to Koh Tao instead.

Decent spot, bit too far away from the main strip in Koh Samui, so late nights can be worrying getting on the back of a random motor bike to get home blind at 5am. Great bloke runs the place, loves his nfl, always good for a chat, maybe sometimes too good when hungover. Ultimately a good place for a pig to settle in and live the thailand life

Nothing special about this guesthouse. It's quite far from the centre of Chaweng beach. The WiFi does not work in the rooms. Want makes this guesthouse good however is the staff. Extremely helpful, offer good advice, it makes your stay a lot more enjoyable.
