Olkhon Island is amazing to visit regardless of where you stay. Sunny Hostel appeard to have the best view in the village, sitting on top of the hill. Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife, brother-in-law and nephew. Would highly recommend it.Great location (15 minute walk to swimming in Lake Baikal!), great views, staff friendly ( there were a couple of English speakers and rooms basic but clean and food fine ( as a vegetarian you will get the food minus the meat/fish as well as an endless supply of bread).Toilets are holes in the ground but you'll get this everywhere on Olkhon and it shouldn't put you off staying hereStayed here for 5 nights with my wife, brother-in-law and nephew.
