They did not so much hot water and the location was hard to find because they do not have a sign at the last corner. Other than that, good place to stay.

Great place, great location, but most of all great staff - would stay again for sure!

Gyoko and Nino could not be more welcoming, helpful, and fun!! Breakfast was always delicious and the rooms are nice with good sized lockers and well-working heaters in the winter. There's a big kitchen and a cozy indoor common room with 2 computers available and always a good soccer match on TV. Even in November, Ohrid is beautiful and interesting, and a great place to explore and relax. Thanks so much for a lovely time!!

Excellent staff, very kind, friendly and helpful. The hostel has a great chill-out vibe with nice rooftop views. Be careful though, this place is like a vortex and it is easy to stay much longer than planned.

this hostel is amazing and so too is lake ohrid. very relaxed atmosphere. the brothers that run the place are very helpful and cheeerful. this is surley the only place to stay when you come to lake ohrid. home away from home. definitely coming back.

This is a really nice hostel and close to everything. I would stay here again. Nice comfy beds and good heaters. The only problem was the ice cold shower at 8:30 AM. The hostel wasn't full so I was surprised that there was no hot water. But otherwise it was a great stay and they were there to let me check in at 1 AM after my bus from Albania.

Alright hostel, good staff, but expensive as same price as hotels outside

One of the finest hostel experiences i have ever had. Joko and Ollie are extremely fun and helpful and really make the stay enjoyable and very worthwhile. The hostel is in a perfect klocation and has an amazing layout. Only regret is that i was not able to stay there longer. I will be back to ohrid and sunny lake hostel!

Nice place to stay. Very quiet at this time of year though. Staff were really nice. Directions on Hostel World need to be updated though as it was very hard to find, and others staying had had similar difficulties.

A great place to stay, right in the middle of Ohrid. Helpful staff, nice and clean. It was fairly empty when I got there as it was the off-season, but I was made very welcome. Thanks for the great stay!

Maybe not very clean, but really a cosy hostel, excellent for real backpackers.

CLEANLINESS, CLOSE TO WATER AND SHOPPING. IN 600 YEAR OLD TOWN ON THE SLOPE OF A MOUNTAIN. BEST CONSTRUCTED BEDS I HAVE SEE.TERRIFIC RENOVATON OF AN OLD STRUCTURE. VIEW OF LAKE ON TOP FLOOR LOUNGE. INTELLIGENT YOUNG LOCAL QWNERS. LOTS OF FREE EGGS, COFFEE, AND BREAD, PLUS JAM. THIS HOSTEL IS IN MY TOP FIVE OF ALL THE WORLD.

Easy going staff, easy going guests. Eveyone here is staying longer than they first planned. Some people even seem to say here forever...Oh, and Lake Ohrid is a very, very, nice lake...

Great place, there is no reason to leave this place at all... Great staff, people, rooms, just everything!!! I wanted to stay 3 nights but i'm still here and I made it 8...

Sunnylake is the friendliest coolest laid back hostel on the planet..and run by the two nicest dudes Gioko and Nino who do everything to ensure you have the best time in Ohrid..3 days has turned into 3 weeks for me here..ajde ciao xx

The BEST hostel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in tons. I arrived for 1 night but have extended it to five. The atmosphere is chilled, friendly and warm and the staff are extremely welcoming and will do anything to help you in anyway they can. It is more like staying with family and the hostel feels like a home from home. A clean, relaxed, comfortable, centrally located hostel with more character than Chuck Norris. If you don't enjoy this hostel then the problem is with you. 12/10

Just go there! The guys are pretty cool!
